I sure hope you can do better than those who took over just before they closed the retail store MB Klein. Back in the day the store had salesman who knew the products they were selling. They were modelers themselves they were friendly and able to help and if they didn't know the answer to your question they would put you in touch with someone who did to insure the customer got the best help possible. Once they became all internet customers were nothing more than a number and those answering the phones knew less about what they were selling than the customer asking the question. Often simply reading the wrong info that was posted on the sale add on their web page. And to make things worse the web site would list 8000 HO or N scale items but when you clicked the Show in stock only button the number dropped to 1/4 that amount or less. I wish you the best of luck.
Perhaps my entire n scale train items were from MTS. Their service was superb . Felt dissapointed when they closed down. It's heartning to know it's revivied now.Thank you MTS ,you will receive my continued patronsge .
After having shopped at Klein's for a little over half of it's lengthy existence, it's nice to know that it will continue to exist in some form. I sure would love a brick and mortar presence in Baltimore though.

Sad that MB Klein will no longer have a presence in MD. Every time my dad would take me to MB Klein on Gay St., I would be bursting with excitement. The Cockeysville location was nice and in a better location. So long brick and mortar! 😢

I am gonna miss being able to pick up stuff on my way to the grocery store in Cockeysville. But I am also kinda into the idea of being able to pick stuff up on the way to the Battery Park Book Exchange and Biscuit Head.

So Factory Direct Hobbies will continue, but only selling non-model train hobby supplies, and Model Train Stuff will absorb the model railroad inventory of Factory Direct Hobbies?
I'm no MBA, but it seems pointless to me. I had switched over to FDH a while ago for their pre-orders (which MTS didn't do) and their website ( which I found to be much better than MTS') and their selection. MTS seemed to leave a lot of items on their site when they were out of stock. I'd search for an item only to find they didn't have it. The only time I used MTS anymore was if they had a much better price on something and because I could pick up locally and save shipping costs. That will no longer be possible. I hope there will be no changes at FDH.
I really didn't get anything out of this so-called scripted interview. Suggestions: please avoid using superlative words like "fantastic ", "spectacular", etc. It sounds like exaggerating. We're all anxious to resume doing business with you so just tell it like it is. Having some bumps in the road? So what. We all do. Good luck in your business venture.
more than 3/4 of my N scale Model railroad was purchased from Model Train Stuff... can't wait to get them back.
Let's give them a chance without the negativity. I have bought many items from them over the years and they were competitive in pricing and shipping.
Better than "Hatton's USA" that's for sure.
The main thing is to PLEASE keep the way the MB Klein website functions. Absolutely the best website to navigate around.

well last time I ordered from MTS shipping took 8 days__ I live 8 miles from the old building in Maryland
why didn't you pick up locally and save the time and shipping costs?
