I have a friend interested in Longs, but will wait to see what will happen after this huge rainstorm in NC. I appreciate you are one of the only realtors who mentions flooding issues. We’ll contact you when we come looking! Thanks!
Thank you Barbara! I know that's a concern for a lot of folks so I try to touch on it. The further north you go into North Carolina the more you kind of risk things, that's actually able to be seen via Google maps. The coastline to the Long Bay kind of veers to the East and that whole chunk of North Carolina kind of sticks its chin out waiting to get punched by the hurricane as it goes past. As usual, Myrtle Beach got off easy...!
This one didn't hit us much at the beach at all, it's pretty rare for hurricane to cut in the way it did and roll up into the mountains like that. At least at the beach, we didn't get much rain at all but we did get some wind. Up in the mountains though, up in Greenville, and really into Asheville North Carolina, they got hammered. So strange, I don't know if I've ever seen a hurricane take that path!
Thanks for watching!!!! : )

Yeah I just looked, last time a hurricane took that path was 20 years ago... hurricane Ivan. Really rare.
