    The best kept secret in the gun world. Keep it that way, I like the availability of components

    Nice video and bullet casting. If I ever went into a single action i'd go with the classic .45 LC and the Vaquero as I get it, the new "old" revolvers are funny, the Vaquero is just like they used to be as far as looks go.

      exactly!! point well noted Sam, ooh BTW that .380 did a surprising number on both melons...but the .38 spl had more time to expand in the bigger target and put that water melon in it's place very fast. thanks 4 watching.

    Always fun to watch you run that old Pro 1000. Your ammo looks like factory quality.

      thank you for your kind comment, there are a few other start to finish video's on the .32 H&R magnum but its a crying shame there aren't many other's this is a great cartridge, i will be doing the chronograph shoot on the 25th of july.

    A great video, thanks. I have the exact T-shirt too. Your power throughs from that Lee auto drum is amazing. I never can get mine working right. I always end up using my dillion square deal powdered throughs. That thing is always accurate for me or I use a scale.

      i've had many negative comment's about the lee auto drum from previous owner about how they leak and the chugging noises it makes..it appears you either get a golden egg or a rotten one, thanks 4 watching.

      @@Ford360CID Yes I did see that video of yours. It helped a little, but still had inaccuracies. I typically use Tithe group powder. I'm thinking that the shape of the powder used on the Lee, auto drum has something to do with it.

      sorry for the late reply...utube messing with my notification bell, i believe the .32 H@R magnum is perfect for this caliber its light weight and balance will give your revolver quick follow up shots and rapid double action shooting at combat ranges.

    Great video 4 life, i'm very lucky in owing a Ruger SuperSinglSix in a 10 in.,& a 61/2" bbl. & Charter Arms 3 in. 7 shot , all in the 32 H&R Mag. And love casting , lubing (wheel wt. lead) bullets & rolling my own. This 32 H&R Mag. is perfect for reducing coyotes @ my ranch. I also load some with a #12/#9 shot mix for rattle-bugs.Very enjoyed your video. Thanks, ....1SG.,J J Huro Jr, USA RET.

    Recently got a Single Six4.6" in .32 H&R. Using my Lee .32 ACP dies, Lee .223 Rem shell holder and S&W Long cases I loaded up some ammo. Using Lee 90gr TLSWC with range scrap and 7625 powder they shot great. .32 ACP ball ammo is inaccurate. Haven't had time to load the .32 S&W (short) and H&R cases yet.

      I had a few 71gn ball bullets I loaded for the H&R cases they move put quite fast for such a light bullet.

    Hello! I share your appreciation for the .32 H&R Magnum though I have not started reloading for it yet. I have dies for .32 ACP and S&W Long and Short and a mold like yours. I'm planning to give it a try this winter when I'm stuck inside. I have two revolvers now chambered for the cartridge. I collect just about any .32 and have an NEF R73 and I just bought on Saturday a Heritage Rough Rider that is 32 H&R magnum with 3.5 inch barrel and bird head grips. Neither are the quality of an SP101 but neither were that price point either. Just subbed and will be checking out some of your other videos. Thanks for a great video!

      i got most of the dies from ebay really cheap i payed 17$ for the .32 long dies that also will double as a 32 H&R magnum die as well, i bought the .32acp/32 short die on ebay as well but payed more for them, the .380 shell holder .223 shell holder will also fit the and i bought the H&R shells on midway usa and i had a box of 32 short shells that was given to me or diamond brass used cases is a great source for hard to find shells. i have a lee 100gn mould and a rcbs 88gn mold i also got on ebay.

    Man, I would Love to have Your Knowledge about Reloading. I have an old Ruger Single Six in 32 H&R Mag., But can't find Ammo for it anywhere. I actually traded My Old SP101 32 H&R for the Single Six. Absolutely LOVE that Single Six!

    • @Ford360CID
      @Ford360CID  10 місяців тому

      the single 6 would be my go to revolver as well..that was a smart choice those revolvers will out live you for sure, once you have the components brass and an inexpensive single stage set up your set up for life..i believe the 32 H&R magnum is more reloader friendly and can generate great velocities as well as the .327 magnum without the sticky extraction, my favorite jacketed bullet is the 100 grain hollow point, out of a 3'' ruger i get up to 1200 fps without high pressure signs. if you want to get started in reloading for the .32 H&R i can help you out.

    Great video as always. I had to subscribe to your channel again. For some reason I was unsubscribed. I love my Lee Pro 1000. Any particular reason why you don't Feed constant shells through or prime off the press?

    • @Ford360CID
      @Ford360CID  4 роки тому +1

      as you witnessed the belling of the .32 H&R magnum case mouth was a bit tight causing the machine to vibrate vigorously, and may cause knocking the primers out of proper feeding or the weight of a full feed tray falling out causing the primers to spill off causing loss of primers, single feed is more reliable and 100% primer retention and you can feel the primers seat with great tension without a crooked and smashed sideways primer in the primer pocket, it is not a race for quantity but a pace for quality, thank you 4 your subscription and your great comment, i am looking forward to hearing more comments from you take care.

      @@arizona_west5392 technically utube will not let me make instructional video's on ammo...but! i stay within the fence line such as not showing you the bullet in the pro-1000 or the lead pure into the mould so those that have done casting and reloading already know what i"m doing without being over graphic, i'm happy that my video's have lead you in the reloading and casting world, good luck to you sir.

    Can you tell how much the cost for starting reloading .32 h&r magnum? Thank you for the attention

    • @Ford360CID
      @Ford360CID  6 місяців тому

      my apologies for the late response utube has been messing with all of our notification bell alerts, so as far as price goes it could be more or less and i will explain how!, if you already have the single stage press then you just saved yourself 75$ the dies are around 38$, finding once fired 32 H@R brass laying around your gun range is nearly zero so your gonna have to purchase new or go on the used brass websites and get it there, powders are steady in price Hodgdons being the cheapest and Alliant being more expensive, primers were the biggest issue getting primers during that time were just a pain to get, so if you go to midway USA and happen to see the free hazmat and or free shipping sales along with sales on components is what i originally did it would be in your best interest to use this method and of course that goes for any other caliber as well, im sure you've already started and i would like to hear it went for you after 2 years.
