She came to the UK to further her education and joined the women's army . One story has it that Mike's mom and dad were entertaining British soldiers at a show, they met , fell in love, married and begot Mike and one or two other siblings. Lindup is still playing and recording with bassist singer Mark King of Level 42 . After the Gould brothers left there have been many different lineups on guitar, drums, sax etc. The original lineup with Lindup, King, Gould brothers on drums and guitar started around the late 1970s . They were all born and raised on England's Isle of Wight

Say". Became an instant fan after that.
