I never said it couldn't be.. I said it shouldn't be for the specks. If you don't have a reputable jeweler or know much about the industry or comparing to prices online, you don't have the direct source to compare it to but it's not the mean price in the diamond or jewelry district. You're ultimately paying the upcharge for the middleman, similar to buying luxury jewelry.
