I tell you what I will have to say with the respect I have for tuff, lane and good ol dale. A like like me and I’m sure most of y’all out there is like a million likes.
man o man what a great interview. proper respect given to one of the greatest. fantastic questions and I love the fact that you know when to stay quiet. Take it easy
That was pretty cool! I like that bull riders are genuine. It's not a show for the show. And the elite guys are definitely "built different". Hanging around each other was probably the best thing they could of done to keep them performing at the highest level.
Tuff you are a true “Champ” and responsible big time for the glory days of the late 80’s…Loved the battles, Lane Frost, Jim Sharp, Ted Nuce & others…The Hay days, in my mind for professional bull riding, what a great time to be rodeoin!! “Ranchman’s” Calgary, Alberta was the place to be when the boys came to town! Thanks for all of it Tuff and thank you DB for this👍🏻
Great podcast ol' son. Been a fan of Tuff for a long, long time. In reference to the Genie and one wish left question. I always wonder why no one answers that they would use the last wish to wish for another genie! 🤠👍♥
When my boys first started out I took them to Tuff's clinic at Nicky Wheeler's pen, and he told those boys the most memorable statement. It has stuck with me from that moment on. He said, " The worst thing you can ever do to a dream is quit it. " That's deep, that's competitive, that's craving what you live for.
Always love hearing somebody mentioned Florida and the cattle industry in Florida cuz nobody realizes that especially people from out west Florida is not synonymous with bull riding even though Silver Spurs Rodeo is one of the biggest rodeos in the world they just don't put the two and two together that it's alright 20 miles from Disney World literally grew up in the St Cloud Kissimmee area been going to the Silver Spurs Rodeo since I was like 3 years old currently live in the Melbourne area and work for the one of the biggest oldest ranches in the state of Florida the cattle business here is Major

This is like watching Between 2 Ferns, except it's not funny. Seriously, what dumb questions. I kept waiting for "what's your favorite color" to be asked.

@@JamesSmith-ny4nx I think Jb is the equivalent of this century's Lane and Tuff . Damn shame he had to hang his hat up from breaking his neck.

I have the coolest picture of Tuff holding me when I was a kid. 8 seconds was always my favorite movie, it was amazing to meet him.

Heck, back when Tuff was riding the COW Palace was the end of the season and it was in November.
Yes sir. The Cow Palace was THE last stop before the finals. So many great rodeos at that venue.
Love the vids dale. Keep it up

Dale, what is the best brand of boots for bull riding?
It’s just a boot son….you can beat bulls in tennis shoes or barefoot if you can ride….boots mean absolutely nothin.
