Nora, I don't know how you read the news each week with such strength. The usual litany of depravity today on Nakba Day had me revolted and angry and swearing and in tears and then the woman who is older than Israel and the cheering kids made the tears just stream down.
I appreciate so much how the EI team is taking journalism to another level. On top of your exemplary factual reporting and analysis, you add the activism of amplifying marginalized voices, offer us genuine care and authentic humanity instead of plastic smiles and contrived 'balance' or 'objectivity', and wrap up with a respectful group discussion that helps us all process the horror and heroism of this neverending nightmarish fight to the death.

As a former US Infantryman (11 Bravo), is hard understand the IDF's tactics - after 7 months their soldiers keep standing by the windows and they keep putting flags on top of their vehicles ..... like saying "Here I am Hamas". A poorly trained army like the IDF has no chance to defeat the Resistance.

Please don't tell me this is going to take years, as I can't imagine how the people of Gaza & the West Bank will be able to carry on, physically & mentally. The grief must be palpable for you all, as it is for those of us watching & listening. My life has been on hold since 8/10 when 7/10 showed me my ignorance, but it was awakened when I began to do a deep dive into understanding the cause ... & I've been devastated for the Palestinian people and the destruction to their homeland. These were war casualties. This is a war not of Israel's choosing. You should wonder, why Hamas never built bomb shelters for the women and children.
