I appreciate the video very much and disagree with those who criticize your accent. I only speak English and while I have to listen more carefully your content was well worth a little extra effort on my part. Keep up the good work!
I really wish they refreshed the 18mm f/2 with quiet motors. It is the perfect compact size for just everyday use. 18 f/1.4 is pretty sick though, will surely get one
Thx u for support , lens hood design to protect lens from light flare, some time we use it when we shot directly to the light source, and putting on a lens hood also serve as protection to the lens . But why most of the time in the video we did not put on hood simply because we want to show audience how the lens look like .
Enjoyed the video and comparisons. The images were a bit quick to enjoy the images while taking in the metadata to see which lens was in use. Great job though 👏🏾
Good review and very helpful! If I want to get a 18mm lens for street photography that I will shoot between f4 to f8, is the 18mmf1.4 still a better choice over 18mm f2? Is the sharpness still better on 18mm f1.4 even stop down?
yes, the new 18mm hav better image quality over the whole image circle , especially the corner performance :) but for the size of 18mm F2 , can’t complain anymore :)
Thanks for this content. Can the 18mm be hendheld? I want to choose which buy for hendheld walking footage facing the camera, without a tripod, is the 18mm too near? Thanks, Max I have a Sony a6600 and I want to choose between a 16-55 and a 18-105 I would prfer the 18-105 if it could be used for a head talk while walking without a tripod, is the 18mm too near? do you know if there is some content about this around? How to you look shooting your self with a 18mm or with a 16mm holding it with the hand? Thanks, Max
Since you have both the xpro3 and the 18mm, how does the ovf work with the 18mm? I know that you don't get frame lines for the 18mm but do you get to see your focus point? Does the focus point adjust for distance/parallax? Cheers
Not that I dunt like it . I agree it’s a great lens , It’s was the best until the new 18mm release, maybe u can try out at one of your local store Thn u can understand 😉
I dont see how it's the best when it does everything the 16mm does only a tad sharper in some areas. The 18mm doesn't have a clutch, it's 2mm less, and lacks character. It's a great lense but the 16mm focuses just as good and takes just as good images. Honestly, the 18mm is overpriced. It's the 16mm with a linear motor and 2mm smaller.
I keep hearing Pentax when you say pancake. I am very sorry, but maybe consider doing this channel in Mandarin or the language most native to you? Your photos are nice, and the overall quality of video is obvious. But... your pronunciation and command of English is an absolute killjoy. Very sorry for the comment, and thank you for your efforts.
Sounded fine. Excellent video. Very informative. Thank you for putting this content out there for us. Please don't let this comment stop you from posting. Wonderful job! Again, thank you!
@@lenslibrary My version of 18mm review is on the way, but it will be a simple review due to MCO3.0. Can’t really go out to test, only mange to do some model shooting. Anyway, enjoy watching your review. 😄

Please make more x-pro3 and fuji lens videos. The quality of your content is amazing.
Loved this style of video! Organic.
Thank you 🙏🏽
Damn bro, thank you for the video I am believer of 18 mm its magical
Thanks for the review 😊
Wow, this was a great video keep up the great work
Hi! Lovely content 🤙🏼
Must ask. Do you ever use lens hoods and why and when in that case?

if only 1 lens, 18 or 23 f1.4?
Great photos. I was not keen on classic neg until seeing yours.
Yea , classic neg work best when light hit, not good if shade too much or in night without light 🙂

How's the 16 1.4 with the OVF? I'm worried it would block a quarter of the viewfinder. Thanks in advance!

What settings do you use for your Classic Negative Film Simulation?
Classic negative default, not changing anything 🙂
I’m using a XT-2 from 2016 - are there any settings that simulate classic negative on the old fujis?
I’m waiting for the XT-5 before I upgrade haha
I want the 18.4, but my wallet says the 18.2

Yes !
Was this a lens review or an x pro 3 review?
amazing photos!!!!!!!!!!!
The manglish accent is so strong I need subtitles
Xpro 3 my all time fav camera after canon Ae1 ;-)
Je ne comprend pas, on traite des grands angles et l'on voit débarquer du 56mm. Pourquoi pas un 200mm comparé à un 12mm. ???? 🤪
Nice
I Like 🙏
Love the accent!
This guy is good.
jatuh cinta dengan fuji lagi
It's like you can speak English perfectly but intentionally enunciate Chinese accent =]
It's a typical Malaysian Chinese accent. Not easy to be intentional about it if you're not from there! lol
@@jsurfin1 ah ha
16mm f/1.4 does have kinda anamorphic look where as the others lens lacks characteristic appearance.
The 16mm 1.4 is absolutely incredible. I’m super surprised you don’t like it. It’s one of the best lenses Fuji flim makes. I love it!

Cant understand jack shit of what youre saying dude. Speak slowly and more clearly.

His English is actually quite good, no issue understanding it at all here. Other channels may be more suitable for you.
His English was fine to me.
You should focus your efforts on learning another language yourself and developing some tolerance instead of making comments like this.

I like the 18mm f1.4 too! Fujifilm should have come out or update their prime lens with Linear Motor, which is good for video shooting.
Ya , looking forward for your review too 🤜🤛
