There can be another crossover, and it will be Mario and Sonic teaming up against Bowser and Eggman (who also teamed up). I'm trying to read some Sonic books and some Mega Man books before I go into their crossover book.

I'm getting this game for Christmas, along with Super Mario RPG and Warioware: Move It! I already have them pre-ordered and am willing to put them on layby until it gets close enough to the holiday season.
I agree with the unpopular opinion of the new elephant powerup you discussed. I also thought that the "fursuits" that mario aquired from other animal related power ups were pretty wack. I honestly prefer the transformation that the elephant apple power up brings and hope to see more of it as well.

Well here how I see what gonna in wonder I am happy about: I happy it have some reference to one of mario's OVA while the only OVA I watched consistenly is sonic' one I say refernce around them is a really cool thing. Having daisy and yoshi fully playable is really a dream come true for me consider I enjoyed to play as daisy in super mario run and among my favorite part in super mario world is overall yoshi and how you can bring him to most levels. The power up line up look really intresting and the wonder seed add replayability giving you like a harder route or you can go as it is but you defenitley need to get them for complition or unlocking. Layering is thing that I saw in the trailer really make me happy I love it in some games like the 3DS kirby games and they defenitley a highlight in VB wario land I like to see here too. The story could be more than just your someone is bad rescue X thing like bowser maybe look like the main villain here but this catterpillar guy which references on the mario OVA could be a twist villain kinda like magolor in return to dreamland. As for what I less happy: The life count like isn't a deal breaker but I say they should just go odyseey's route like or a more recent example is freedom planet 2 which give a far more intresting take on the life count being basically punish points for dying yet still return to normal between levels. Is feel like the game not gonna have an online mode again not a deal breaker besides games that based around it like splatoon 3 I am more single player type of person but I can feel like for some is gonna be important. Is feel like those tutorial flowers gonna be a thing that will hold your hand in the game and there is no option to turn them off isn't gonna be as bad as mega man X5 when is outright destroying the pace of the game or X7 when there no way to speed up texts but I can see it be an issue for some But in the end while I do looking for the mario RPG remake more I am sure gonna get this game around it's release not like day 1 with return deluxe cause is was really important to me or tears of the kingdom which came 3 days before my Bday but still
This game gives me the same vibe u gave me when i was a kid which is good. It sucks that it sucks compared other games in the series since it was my first sidescroller. Also while wario did it first this also gives me some kirby tdx and prb vibes with the bg and foreground switching.

There’s a ton of locations there very different from the mushroom kingdom. It has a government and military and it’s very cool to see a kingdom like the Mushroom one. I hope the flower kingdom is fleshed out.
The dog guy who jumps out from behind Mario after they complete the level might be Prince Harru* ruler of the FLOWER KINGDOM from the 1986 Mario anime who was engaged to Peach. Bowser might have taken over so Prince Harru couldn't marry Peach (Also could be why Peach rejected Mario at the end of Odyssey) *No idea if I'm spelling that right.
why don't you consider super mario run a mainline game? it has worlds and stuff... the story is in the same level as most mario games 🤔 not including it just because it's on phones is the same thinking that make some people exclude portable games just for being on a portable console, that happens a lot with portable zelda games.
Ehhh sorry but Mario wonder levels are definitely built on a grid just like nsmbu. you can tell from how the terrain breaks in the autoscolling section, it's not organic or handcrafted like other modern platformers. art style and animation is pleasant at least

To me the levels in wonder compare nothing with the nsmb series, and even if some of them seem similarly done that way, the game is packed up with style, character and care that the level design will be stellar, on par with the classic goats of the SMB series being 3 and world. Officially, this game Is a continuation of super Mario world, so let's expect another shake in the world of 2d platformers by miyamoto and it's creative genius

Kirby already had the ability to switch between the foreground and background in Triple Deluxe and Planet Robobot.
That maybe true BUT the issue with Kirby is that the foreground doesnt stay when you use the 3D warp star to go in the background.
