People absolutely hated these graphics back then, they were not considered good in any way shape or form, keep in mind half life 2 and doom 3 came out 3 years before spider-man 3 and they both look better, not only that but crysis came out the same year this game came out, it absolutely blew spider-man 3 out of the water with it's graphics.
