It's a shame this game doesn't have post-game free roam. What I would like to imagine is that: Hero ending: You explore a restored New York City. Villain Ending: You explore the still-infested city.
1. use black suit 2. repeat shooting webs right after web 3. swing up if you wanted to go high 4. if you touch a wall jump off if you touch ground jump off and start swinging again.
I miss the game so much I saw the spider man 2 trailer and saw venom and instantly thought of this game I wish we could get an updated graphics remaster is that too much to ask before I shed this mortal coil?
It is badly optimized but low end computers can still run it at 60 FPS I think even GT cards but it needs a good CPU due to the optimization being bad with random lag
Start the game Open task manager>details>find your game.right click and open priorities set it to real time or high priority.your game will run in 60fps

You can make the rest of the world realistic seeming with movements but Spider-Man’s abilities allow him to come off as cartoonishly fast and agile I wish you could gain a lot more momentum in Spider-Man ps4 like a higher top speed in this but enemies and villains stay the same cuase their not Spider-Man and honestly Spider-Man is op asf based on street level heroes standards he should be able to gain as much speed as he wants
+ Superb swinging animations and momentum mechanics + Cool detail of the web swaying in the air when you hold into the web while swinging + Cool transition between two suits ++ Web zipping to enemies Basically, if you remaster this game, add movie-like cutscenes, and add some side quests, it would definitely beat the sht out of Spiderman PS4 edit: The fast speed was due to the symbiote suit. You wouldn't reach that speed with the red costume alone. I get it that it's too fast but the PC version had mods of it where the swinging speed was also increased. What I'm saying is, this game was great when it came out and have similarities to the Insomniac one. The web-zipping mechanic was also top-tier as it had cool animations and you could endlessly fling enemies to the air repeatedly. That mechanic then later came in handy when fighting with Vulture, as you can't reach him up in the air by swinging. You had to zip to him. Then Wolverine comes in with that anti-zip mechanic which makes you come up with a different approach in web zipping. You have to dodge while zipping and zip again as a counter-attack to wolverine's parry to your web-zip which is insane. Wolverine also comes up with the quiz which I found entertaining.

Looked more like you were smashing random buttons. It's faster this way, yes, but you lose more realistic animations by throwing multiple webs per second
First of all the sounds man. Hearing the wind blowing as you swing at mach speed, Tricks cutting the wind as you do them, the webs shooting out, slaming into buildings, and if you swing long enough in the red suit you can hear Peter getting tired with his heavy breathing. UGH I hope the Spider-man PS5 can finally top this game cause man it doesn't get better than Web of Shadows. The speeds you can reach, Web zipping more than just twice, him interacting with the environment while on a web like being able to run on the ground if the web is long enough or spin on a pole for however long he wants to from web swinging. Pushing off building on command and not just something that Spider-man sometimes does when he feels like it. This game truly feels like we're playing an experienced spiderman. Not saying saying spiderman ps4 sucks or anything cause I do love the game but even though the web swinging was a massive improvement from The Amazing Spiderman games and a decent improvement from Spiderman 3 it wasnt as good as Web of Shadows, maybe just on par with piderman 2

If you liked w.o.s. you may enjoy sm3 on pc? maybe even more than w.o.s.? ah who cares at this point. i just want spiderman ps4 on pc. can't waste all that money on a console to play one game.

The traversal speed is trash in the first Spider-Man PS4 game, it’s already been leaked that the web swinging speed will be 4x. faster compared to the original, I don’t know why anybody would want to keep the original swinging speed, its stated in the comics Spider-Man can swing through Manhattan at over 100mph so only fair it matches that feel some what
The new Marvel's SM and SM Miles Morales are pretty good and quality but IMO, Web of Shadows is still king. The symbiote dark super hero fantasy setting, the crazy ass parkour and the breakdancing combat while climbing walls just couldn't be topped in another SM game yet. Not to mention this game also had other great interesting features like choices and companions and no Mary Jane stealth missions. 😁
And you call that a "web swinging"? More like messing around. The only thing i liked is the textures pack mod. It really makes this game look good these days.

You can. I just pressed continue and let the credits roll. Then pressed continue again and the game started from the beginng but with ALL THE UPGRADES AND COLLECTIBLES
The serious tone to this spiderman game still one of the best 🔥🔥, just bought a ps2 slim recently and got aome good gems thinkin of getting a xbox 360 to get back some gems saints row 1&2, fable 2, gta 4 and expansions, I only had a 360 once in life lol so called friends stole it back then
This dude doesnt know how to swing properly..smh the swinging system in this game (besides the webs attaching to the sky) is one of the best in a spiderman game...you only have to master it
@@kalinggakinanatharsyah726 I think 'web of shadows' has a better story because it starts with tragedy: the symbiote has grown and has infected the entirety of new york, you spend the whole game choosing to either stop it from growing or help it grow more. there's no gradual foreshadowing to the symbiote or anything, you're in the midst of it from the first cutscene. the choice system before every mission makes the story very character driven and gives the story personal stakes. sure, It's a large scale game but it's not mind numbing like I thought 'marvel's spider-man' was sometimes. all the characters are great except for moon knight, I especially love wolverine and the vulture. shield is great and it's handled a lot better than sable international from 'marvel's spider-man' although I think black widow being the director was a little odd. I love 'marvel's spider-man' first half but the second half is just too messy for me to enjoy.

On pc, press and hold E when you are near a lamb. Wait for him to slow down, and eventıally he will do the pose.
