I love Gaius's character, because he acts so hardened at first, but then you can see that he is actually really liking Matthew as a friend. I don't want to spoil anything, so I'll just say I like his character. 🙂😊

I'm so happy I watched this because we really thought that Atticus didn't see Jesus on the water. My son (who says Atticus is "hands down" his favorite character) and I were really trying to get something from the scene to suggest he saw something, but I guess we missed it. And yes, we will go buy snacks now. 😄
And have to say we love what Brandon has done with Quintus as well. Both are stellar actors and we are so lucky to watch them do their thing.
"Jupiter, Juno, Mars, Mercury, Neptune, Venus, Apollo..." "Stop that, I'm exhausted already!" Yes, pretty much! These EXHAUSTING pagan pantheons! lol
Quintus is so goooood!!! Love him. He plays the "loveable" somewhat villain!

I usually don’t like the characters who play villains but in this case I enjoy watching Quintus and Atticus. They are turning their hearts to Jesus. Love this show! 😊❤️

Same. Never been a villain fan but Quintus is adorable😊. I don't think they're turning their hearts to Jesus though, I think Atticus is trying to move things along going after him 🤷

I love Quintus, Gaius and Atticus. They're such good actors and characters in the show. I think Atticus is the centurion at the cross that said "truly this was the son of God" but I guess I'll have to wait and see! :)
I love these three actors they really add tension to the plot. Quintus the guy you love to hate Atticus the guy who makes you squirm and Gaius the guy who has a gentle heart under that armor. Just had a neighbor over this afternoon watching season 3 for the first time I've watched it about 10 times already and watched episode 1 and 2 and episode 7 and 8 in the theater❤
I can’t wait for season 4! I only discovered The Chosen a couple of months ago and it has helped me appreciate the context and potential character of all the people involved in the gospels. It is making it so much more relatable. Thank you to everyone working on this wonderful project!

The look on Atticus’s face when he was standing on the shore, looking out over the sea, and the lightning lit up Christ standing on top of the water was just breathtaking. Before that, he was always so flippant about everything, but, somehow, I don’t think he’s going to be such a wise-ass from now on. And I LOVE Gaius’s friendship with both Matthew and Simon, especially Simon. I loved how Simon went looking for him in the Roman Quarter and risked getting arrested after Eden lost their child. (I think that Simon, who lost his father, sees Gaius as a father figure and I love that dynamic, just as I love Matthew’s crush on Mary 😀) And last, but certainly not least, there’s Quintus-who is a total whack-job and who should win an Emmy for his performance 👏👏👏 This is really a great show 👍 Love it!
WOW wow wow….I am so excited about season 4!!! I am having heart palpitations 💗💗💗💗 it’s a good thing I have the 3 past seasons to keep me occupied until season 4 comes out🙏🏽✝️🙏🏽✝️🙏🏽. Thank you to all the cast and crew of this amazing Show-you have taught me so much about how these people lived during the time of Jesus visually. It has been a beautiful addition to my Bible study. The roman culture presented through the characters and their dialogue in The Chosen REALLY opens one's eyes to the similarities to American culture.
Thanks for the update. I may have missed something, but I was under the impression that Atticus had seen nothing - from my viewing of the episode. Now I know he saw "something" that disturbed him and he's not sure what to do with it. Big difference between seeing "nothing" and possibly seeing glimpses of a man walking across a churning sea. The latter of which is tying him into knots.
Big fan of all three gentlemens work.
If I remember when Atticus was looking out over the sea as the
Lightning is lighting up the sky on the horizon he saw a shadow of a figure Jesus walking out on the water.
I hope that this chosen family continues to make series as long as it takes, even if the story of Jesus is finished, I pray that it continues with the story of his diciples as well as going back to the old testament of all the prophets, never-ending.😇

I hope they do a series on Joseph (the man who could interpret dreams). I would say exodus, but I don’t think the team has the funds for that yet.
Let’s hope it comes to all of that not just Joseph but starting from Noah, Abraham, Ellija and all the other prophets, am sure in time if it is God’s will and if it really touches the hearts of people than He can provide.
I'd also like to see from after the death of Jesus, like from the book of Acts.

Loved this, thanks Jalein and Chris! Talking of inner conflict, I loved the scene where Gaius admits to Simon, after some prompting, that the sick servant boy is really his son. He didn't want to tell Simon, but his conscience had him in a headlock and was squeezing!😊
My sister and I knew it would be out at 2:00pm for UK time and were literally reloading it multiple times 😂 so glad it’s finally out !
Atticus.... feeding of the one is effortless... food magically appears in his hand...
"This is Atticus, buy snacks." LOL! To me, Atticus is one of the most interesting characters. He's probably not religious, but intelligent, rational, fearless, not at all superstitious, and a staunch advocate and protector of Roman interests. And now he's repeatedly seen Jesus do things that are utterly inexplicable, which has shaken him to the core. (This is evident when he asks Simon Z, "What is he?" I'm very interested to see where the writers take this character, which has less of an obvious trajectory than many of the others.
This video was great. Seeing Gaius and Quintus and my fav ATTICUS!
We all feel the same way. Loving the characters/actors, anxious for start of season 4, wondering, touching of our hearts, anticipation for storylines, buying out the tissue aisle. Did I mention anxiety????

I know so many will come to Christ because of the Chosen and l see all the actors are showing the humanity of whom each are. That has just blown my mind and my heart. Thank you everyone. So you're saying Quintus is clueless about everything that's going on except the tent city? I'm guessing it makes sense though Giaus seems to be doing everything he can to protect Jesus and his disciples and helping out the people in the tent city. Wow, you guys are amazing!

I love the Romans- they add so much more character and really show us what it was really like with the Roman oppression but also portray that not all romans were soo oppressive( especially Gaius) Very thankful to Brandon, Kirk and Elijah for playing their parts so beautifully !

I absolutely love to see how shaken Atticus is becoming over Jesus. And how it's going to affect him going forward. Same with Giaus. Who seems to be leaning in and ready to surrender. Meanwhile Quintus is just beginning to unravel as well. It's all a treat to witness. To see what they will do with Jesus. Accept or reject Him.

The romans are my favorite characters in this show
The characters in The Chosen all come across as very human and likable. The series shows the love of God. It is awesome!
Yes, and we see representatives of every human personality in the characters. I feel like I personally know the Simon character from work, and don’t like him - then remind myself that he eventually becomes Peter and that leaders are sometimes disagreeable but get things done.
Love Philip the peacemaker. So kind and patient with Matthew.
PS I absolutely love that Quintis is a muncher! Always at the ready with snack in hand!

Brandon Potter is a delightful villain. If you ever get a chance to see him in “the Inside Man” (a series about corporate security - totally unrelated to the Chosen) it is a great watch. A series of shorts (about 7 minutes each)

Yes! 💪 I know The Chosen is designed to be more family friendly but I'd love to see a bit more Roman brutality. Think that moment that the troops of Romans are goose stepping through the town and then tile slips off the roof in Ben Hur... gut wrenching!

There's no day I see The Chosen and I don't shed tears, get touched and understand the Humanity of Jesus.
I used to think Jesus was Divine on earth and it was easy for him to fast, overcome temptations and preach for even 10 days straight but now I begin to see he was as Human as we are.
