- These job responsibilities are based on my experience. Some admins might have different duties than mine, depending on their job description and the company they work for.
If you were like me, when I was looking into this career, you might have no idea what an admin does. I hope this video gives you some insight of the job and help you decide if this is something you want to pursue. :)

Great insight on the reports section! The difference between a good Salesforce admin and a great Salesforce admin/analyst is not only delivering a report, but helping teams understand and make decisions based off of data presented.
Thank you for your kind words
Thanks so much for explaining this Mikee! As a beginner Salesforce Admin, I really appreciate having this break down 🙏
Glad it was helpful! :) thank you for the kind words Leandra! ❤️
Great points Mikee! Same here, I don’t deal much with reports since we have assigned food with much more experience working with reports

Thanks
I would like to ask if the Salesforce admin can reset the authenticator of a user? I lost my phone and I'm unable to open my authenticator. Thanks
This would be a question for your IT team :) for my team we use OKTA, and I have no control of that
Hi, can you tell where did you first got an internship. Can I apply too? Was there any interview process to get that internship?
Hi Prathima , I found it thru LinkedIn! I recommend watching my previous video on how I landed my sfdc job :) it’ll tell you more details
Hi, could you let me know what key words should one be looking for in an entry level SA job description? I wouldn’t want to accidentally apply to one that is mostly meant for experienced admins.😅
Hello, in regards to key words for the job description, I think it’s more of what your knowledge consists of! You might be familiar with some non-entry level SCA skills :)
Some of them are pretty vague “providing basic support to customers, entry-level management of Salesforce operations, and maintaining customer data”
But definitely the content you studied for in your exam!
If some job description seem to require coding, architecture, development, then those are a little out of our league for entry level jobs.
hello mikee I am training to become a salesforce dev and admin can you share some of the real-life validation rules and flows you created so we can understand what kind of requirements we can face in the future? Thanks ☺
Hello! thank you for such a good feedback. Ill be sure to keep this in mind when I'm making a new video :) I appreciate you!
Hello Mikee, I hope you are doing great. I want to know that is technical support role is good or not as I got an offer from Salesforce for this role! Thank you 🐈
thats awesome you got a job offer from Salesforce! Congratulations!
Technical support role is a great place to start. You might not be an admin officially but you're getting your experience!
@@Mikeelianne Thank you so much! I'm really excited about the opportunity to work with Salesforce. Is it feasible to transition from a support role to a developer role within Salesforce at a later stage? As I was more in a developer role from the last 2 year in my last company.
Can u please suggest resources for earning flows?
I took Salesforce Lightning Flows on udemy with Andy Utkan. While watching his vids I was doing it at the same time on my hands on org :)
Recently I’ve definitely improved from my mentor at work since he’s created so many for our instance and when it’s my turn to create flows, I learn from his built ones. Practice always helps!
Sounds like a job where you get to spend most of your day doing your own work with minimal calls with co-workers/boss or customers ?
I actually work a lot with our internal users. There are days when I just work on cases from people receiving errors when they try to do particularly actions such as closing an opportunity
But after that, you’re right I spend most of my time with my own projects :)
Sounds awesome 🤩
I m also looking for Siebel to Salesforce transition.
looks like you already have CRM experience, highlight that in your resume. I think it's be bonus points for your applications!
Where did you get your training for the admin cert.?
I watched Mike Wheeler Media Administrator course on udemy and
Focus on Force Administrator certification
Can u lost put key words of daily tasks you will be healing with? Here’s a example like flows I’m currently oaring flow builders and now I’m gonna spend extra time on this section to k lol earn automations better😊
Key words: validation rules, flows, user management, securing records, CPQ, communities
Hi mikee I'm from India and I am intern Salesforce admin is it possible to get a job as fresher
Hi! What do you mean as a fresher?
How much do you make as a junior admin? btw I'm filipino too :)
yey you're filipino too!! Hi kababayan, i would say im in the 75th percentile for Jr. salesforce admin salary
These edits are legit 😂
Thank you for appreciating my humor 🥲❤️
Hi Mikee...Please do more videos about Salesforce.
