I love the beginning of the video Damien.You show that you are enjoying driving this car even with some of the flaws that you mentioned. Make it a daily driver which I'm sure you're going to drive the crap out of it and enjoy it. Interesting review and brutally honest ..... refreshing to hear a you tuber not trying to defend their purchase or provide bull regarding future values.....I think the Pista is a beautiful car but slightly too fussy on the front.... it will be cool to see someone in the UK who can afford to put real miles on these types of cars and I believe that man is you Damien....great work and back on form.......

The Pistas I’ve seen in Sydney have looked a bit clunky and chavvy to be honest, but in this spec it looks classy and mean, bloody love it!
I personally love the interior mate, well done on sticking with what you wanted and enjoying it 😎

Beautiful car and thanks for the review. I drove the Speciale and then the Scud. I bought the Scud because of the emotion I felt driving it, as well as the feel that it had over the Speciale. Seems the Pista has moved the emotion and feel factor pendulum even further in the wrong direction.
Cars are absolutely becoming faster and more capable. BUT at a big expense.

I have a 16M and the experience definitely makes you “tingle” each and every drive. The SF2 gear changes are explosive, the road feel is amazing, the classic beautiful pininfarina lines are sexy yet aggressive, and the stock exhaust will make your ears bleed! I also love being able to see the engine under glass and for some reason the old school canvas top feels special as well-perhaps it harkens back to a bygone era.
Love the 16M, and a bargain right now.
Looking forward to trying one of those - no doubt it's an epic car

The Halfords pack was the French Autoroute kit that you need when you drive in that country - which never gets checked.

Another great video, Damien, the steering is not electric at all, your issue I think is down to two things 1- the tires, they are not meant for those temps, try replacing the tires with more street oriented Michelin 4S. I think yuo will be happier. When these tires finally get up to temp (about 49C) they feel great- but below that, they are not good. 2-the extra power means you need a more planted chassis and that makes the car less lively vs the 458. Beautiful car, I think it looks great as is.
I wasn’t sure about the gold wheels but then I remembered the 512 S (1970) and went “Ohh”. Great spec for someone who’s been blessed with both owning many Ferrari’s and excellent taste ;-)

I think you chose a beautiful color combination on your Pista. Regarding the service time of 7 years, I have read in 2020 if I remember correctly. That Ferrari extends free service for a few years for up to a total of 14 years, but then there were apparently some requirements they had. Then when you hear questions if you are afraid that the value of the car will fall if you drive a lot, I get a little annoyed. Because in my opinion, Ferrari is built to be driven and if you are worried that the value will fall, you should not buy a car at all. For the price drops on all cars but different rates how fast it drops and you buy a Ferrari to drive and enjoy it.

He calls the steering numb and blames it on the electronic steering.
The only issue with that is, that the Pista has the exact same hydraulic steering system as the 458 he is so fond of.

That's fair, I respect that.
I just find it very problematic that he criticises the car based on incorrect info. I will be 100% honest with you, and say that I'm in part annoyed about it, as I have a dog in this fight.
I am a Pista owner myself, but I am also the type of car guy who wrench because I enjoy it, and to me it is absolutely ludicrus to call the steering numb, especially compared to the 458, as they in fact share steering systems.
Damien has previously shown to be quite subjective based on incorrect info.
I have driven just about everything in the rage and own a few cars. I understand this might be hard to believe seeing this is youtube, so I will be more than happy to invite you on to Ferrarichat. There I am a confirmed owner, and also what I like to believe is a valued member.
The point of this is not just to bash this channel, but while they do claim to have a high degree of objective car expertise, I have come to find that it is not the case.

There are more Pista cars then there are 488 cars. That’s why they don’t number them, nor say how many were made. The VIN number on your car will be the way for the people in the future to record it’s existence as one of the very last’s if not the final car to come out the factory. It was a blessing in disguise to have you wait so long as they set you up with possibly the final car as well as arguably the best looking.
Beautiful car, great colour. I would like a ride in it. Sam STG gave me a short ride in the yellow Pista that he had for his 30th birthday. What a car! Absolutely agree about stop start and the need to keep switching it off. ( Scotland, do not tell the wee woman you going when she allows us to return)! You are one lucky guy to have so many cars and so many Ferraris
