It has been nearly a year since TheCarGuys’ Ferrari 488 Pista Spider was delivered, and yet co-presenter Jason has never driven it. Until now. He helped to spec the car in Italy at the Ferrari factory, advised on the spec, and in this week’s episode he sees it in the flesh FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME!
What is his reaction? Is it everything he thought it would be? How good does this car look in the bright sunshine? And most importantly, what’s it like to drive? All these questions and more will be answered in this week’s episode.

DamienI I love your Pista…and as a guy who owns grey Lambos that’s saying something!The chocolate interior, is stunning and so different to the other specifications I’ve seen. I love your passion for Ferrari and the way you shared your car with Jason. It was nice seeing Jason fall in love with the car. The sound and editing, clarity of presentation and fun factor were all to the max in this video. Great job!! Love the car and external colour combo but just can't get my head around the brown interior. Nice to see something different for sure but way too chocolatey for me. 🍩🍩🍩
Maybe a bit of light grey or silver to break up the chocolate
Damian, I wanted to get the painted shields for my F8, but Ferrari talked me out of it and said that it is more suited for the V12s. I should have said I don't care and taken them because they look awesome on your car!

A Pista & a Blue QV....oh YES..!!!!!! :) Just wondering what did Nicole think of the car.
I think that your specs, are probably the best, by far, of all the Pista that i saw. Maybe the only thing for my taste that i would change are, golden embroidered horses on headrests, golden rpm dial, golden ring of the gear mode, golden start button, chocolate leather wheel, and maybe golden seats belts. For the exterior i thing black caliper with golden Ferrari Brembo Carbon Ceramic sign, and maybe black lower mirrors, with a tiny gold stripe between lower black and upper Grigio parts.
I’ve driven the coupe few times, and is a proper rocket, my 911 seems like a Fiat Panda in comparison, really a masterpiece.
I love the spec an your Pista and Jason’s Giulia is awesome too!!

Great video guys, as for the steering, have a look at Robert Mitchem from Apex at Nurburgring. He had the same issue and he adjusted the front camber and it totally changed the car.

Yes those horse sheilds are perfect size,if you own a Ferrari or alpha you have to have the side shields, Beautiful spec!!

Not sure who was more excited! Great car, great spec. Recently saw a Speciale over ashdown forest. Literally, the exhaust sound filled the whole road. Made the V8 M3 sound totally puny lolz

An utterly stunning spec 😍
A friend of mine removed the valves off his Pista's exhaust. It makes a massive (and very pleasant) difference on the startup. So much so that its cold start is louder than the Speciale!
I reckon that car is a classic already. And looks km’s better than the regular 458. Who would’ve thought grey black and gold would have been the colour combo to get. A little bit more hooning next time? Definitely the best colour Pista I’ve seen.

A most excellent video! Interior spec really works. I imagine it looks even better in 'the flesh' than on the screen. The only way to improve the video would be to take the Daytona spyder out as well. 👍
