Lalique Pour Homme | First Impressions | Handsome Smells

Post first impressions thoughts:
The opening is still fairly harsh, especially the lavender which comes across slightly synthetic at this stage, and reminds me a lot of cleaning products you'd find in a bathroom. In the drydown the scent becomes woodier on my skin, with lots of dry greenness coming from the oakmoss. The scent also has a touch of powderiness in the drydown.
This was a massive hit with the wife, she nearly melted in my arms when I hugged her. She mentioned it smelt like something she smelt before, like the time we first were married, I wore a lot of Bois de Portugal during that time, so I believe the comparisons to Creed are justified some what.

This one was my signature for a while! 😄 Original impression for me was that it smelled like an old lady's floral made for the 90s. 😆 But a few weeks later when the really cold weather hit, the cedar and vanilla came out so strongly that I couldn't help but love it. Can be a bit astringent in the heat though. I like it more for the autumn and winter.

The powdery Iris really stands out on this one imo. I don't like the opening much but the dry down is nice. I'll wear it on occasion. Overall it leans more masculine for me but the powdery iris gives it a grandma-ish vibe. Not for everyone so I wouldn't recommend a blind buy on this one.
