L'Insoumis is a typically artful and unique fragrance. A rummy Fougere. It has an interesting coconutty or "lemon pie with cinnamon accord" going on. It flies under the radar as many Lalique fragrances do. And the Lalique bottle designs......

Love the review. Lalique is always quality for the price and I have been eyeball'n this one for years, but never pulled the trigger. I'm a sucker for a good clary sage note, and appreciate the herbaceous quality of that note I love Lalique Pour Homme, Equus and Lalique Hommage L'homme (wore yesterday 😀) I like Lalique White. Kinda on the fence about Encre Noire. I think I'll have to blindbuy this next one after your recommendation & outstanding review!
Hi Chris! Yet another fabulous review. Just a suggestion for improving your video quality by locking your focus and fixing your aperture.( long press on focus when you start to record) This will not bleed colours when you move. Great fan of your work. 🎉

Great review Chris. Really wish Lalique would release more fougeres in the vein of Pour Homme and this one. In terms of their standard line, they're a bit aloof atm.
It is good that there are certain fragrances that can ewoke distant memories from the past. It's Voyage d' Hermes and Amouage Imitation Man for me that can do this kind of thing. Lalique is a wonderful house, and this was a nice review! By the way, I had the fortune to notice you on a concert a few days ago at A38. What a show it was, cool music, cool people! Botlle is similiar design like Salvatore Ferragamo uomo, or its opposite, don't know which came first on market.. Chris, did you make review on D&G intenso, just bought it this days ,and I love it..😀
I think it's been terribly reformulated as my new bottle is so weak 😩 I spray 20 sprays then Neen another 20 in half hours time very disappointed as I generally like lalique my old signature was pour home edp lion
