    The Regulator is my home course, it’s both incredibly fun and challenging at the same time. It’s also open to the public full time and free to play! There are 3 courses at the park too, so I would definitely make the trip to Burlington if you can to play each course.

    Look up Caliber in Sandpoint Idaho. Best course I’ve played and I’ve played 10 to 15 courses on UDisc’s top 100 courses. The owner is close to having a 2nd course on the property called Mother Load.

    Worth mentioning that Uspastorp is located 5 minutes away from Ale Disc Golf Center, maybe the best locationin sweden. Great trip to go play them both!

    I live an hour from Faylor Lake, and when I was new, I decided to make the trip out there because its a well rated course in my vicinity. It has ruined all other courses after that, because it is just undeniably the best course I've ever played

    Pueblo City Park is a cool course. My favorite hole is a narrow throw between tall trees, over a valley, and the hole is on the other side next to a tree. I was also told it was designed by Steady Ed, the inventor of disc golf

    You're missing out if you've never been to Highbridge Hills in Wisconsin. 5 courses in one location, hosted 2007 worlds. Some changes are being made so go play it as soon as you can.

      And while you're in the area be sure to make some other stops at Justin Trails Disc Golf Resort in Sparta WI, Standing Rocks DCG in Stevens Point WI, and Sandy Point DGC in Lac Du Flambeau WI. Most of these courses are within a 3 hours drive (some even less) from Blue Ribbon Pines. BRP is so much fun to play, it's even open all winter long with plowed fairways.

    Amazimg list of courses to visit! As I am currently in a snow-covered landscape at the moment, this showed me the light at the end of the tunnel. I wish the location was shown with the course name, as I had to Google the majority of courses featured here just to find where they are. I can't wait until spring arrives! Thanks for the vid✌️

      @wildrunsdiscgolf mountain course, on site Christmas tree farm, by far the most unique and picturesque putting greens on any course I've ever seen.
      Earlier this year, went to North Cove, which is great and through Asheville>smokies>back up through to Idlewild, played 9 different 4.5* or above courses.
      Drove back 8 hrs again in october and stayed near NoCove.. we skipped it and played Sugaree twice instead.

    • @MomentologyMusic
      @MomentologyMusic 9 місяців тому +2

      I play both regularly - I wouldn’t say sugaree is “better” than north cove. Way more extreme challenges and tight lines for sure. North cove is very well maintained and has a lot of extra features- pro shop, bathrooms, 3 courses, restaurant, golf carts on gorge. They’re both great in their own right. “10x better” is quite the stretch.

    • @stevefranke3985

      I agree that Sugaree is a way better course than any of the 3 at North Cove. Harmon Hills in Fall Branch, TN too

    We did a KC trip this summer and in my opinion, Bad Rock was much better than Black Hoof. I live close enough to Eagle's Crossing to play it a few times and definitely would consider it a bucket list course. It's not a course I'd want to play every day, but a couple times a year is pretty epic. I've also played the Wild Times wooded course there and would say that it's pretty great and some would say better than the OG course...that said, if I were passing through and could only play one, I'd for sure choose the original course for the epicness of it all. Splurge for the cart...you're already paying a lot for the experience, might as well make it even more enjoyable and less tiring.

    • @wildrunsdiscgolf
      @wildrunsdiscgolf  9 місяців тому

      I certainly have a bias towards black hoof cause its in my home town. I thought bad rock was already pretty well known so i wanted to pick something more unique for a kc course. Im glad to hear that the EC wooded course is sick!

    • @SixSided
      @SixSided 8 місяців тому

      @@wildrunsdiscgolf I think its personal taste. I live in the middle of all the KC courses and I prefer Black Hoof, but I also see a lot of issues with black hoof that hopefully get fixed soon. (Too many small / blind trees in the fairways, gun range, etc.)

    Speaking to Oregon courses: Milo Mciver is so much better than Pier Park especially in the BSF layout. If you play in Oregon make sure to play Milo, Hornings Hideout (Meadows Ridge course they have 3) and Whistlers Bend. But, yes, Pier is a gem.

    The only disagreement I have is BRP. Idk if I bought into the hype too much or what, but it was so meh for me. The holes are very much repetitive and there is nothing special. Personally I'd swap out BRP for Lake Marshall.
