- This request is becoming more popular. There are significant differences in the procedures, risks and outcomes. Some women are concerned about having "foreign bodies" in their body. Fat transfer is an option that originated in reconstructive plastic surgery. For the breast we use it for contour deformities and improving the appearance of the reconstructed breast mound. This technique then transferred into aesthetic surgery. A big difference is that fat augmentation will never look like an implant. The look will always be more natural appearing because it is only fat. To get volume equivalence to breast implants often require multiple surgeries. The cost for doing so often exceeds the cost of just augmentation with implant. Definitely visit with surgeon to go into further details of the benefits and risks of this procedure. I was hesitant to look at this video because of the videos I’ve seen like this, they’ve all have been strictly for or against implants or BFT. Well he definitely shocked me with a fair and almost balanced approached to both options. I enjoy watching this

What are the scar differences?
You just answered one of my questions. I'm big breasted (38J) & over time, they've headed south. Dr. Hustak, has tried to get me, to do a breast reduction. I don't want to. Going to have Fraxel to my upper chest for tightening and sun reversal damage. Hopefully, I will see a little lift from that. Like to have and implant to anchor it under the muscle. Then the fat transfer, to fill in the davit, like you said.
Fraxel will absolutely not help tighten your skin. best wishes on your surgery!

I am 45 yrs and would love to do fat transfer. Did tummy tuck 5yrs ago and would love to know in one procuders which parts of body can use for lipo to transfer

Is the fat transfer a problem for scanning after breast cancer?
GREAT QUESTION! when we first started to doing fat transfer, calcifications were seen on imaging. now radiologists acknowledge these as normal post surgical changes after fat transfer. remember to tell you radiologist you have had fat grafting prior to mammogram or other imaging.
I wanted to ask is their a way to find out that you can possibly get implant sickness??
I would advise you talk to a BOARD CERTIFIED surgeon in person. too long of a discussion online. what you read on the internet is often biased.
Is the only way to remove calcifications from fat necrosis by surgical extraction or is it possible to non-surgically massage it away overtime? I have realistic expectations with a BFT procedure and have done n acknowledged all research on the long term risks. But the only showstopper is that i would subsequently require additional surgery to remove the necrotized fat cyst. Is doing a BFT now will create a high risk of long term surgical complication, i would rather not proceed. Appreciate you could advise if this is the case based on your wealth of experience. KR. only way to remove fat necrosis or cysts if visible or of concern is surgical removal. they do not go away with massage

@@celine8697 strongly discourage other types of fillers. permanent or non permanent.
I’m interested to undergo fat transfer to breast. But my concern is do I need to wait for 2nd baby before getting this procedure to prevent my breast from sagging?
not necessarily. you just need to understand your breasts WILL change after pregnancy with fat grafting or no grafting. I would recommend to delay the procedure until after having all children to have longer lasting results.

Hii doctor breast implants need to change every 10years or can leave life long???
i can tell you from experience you do did to change them out and get new ones to prevent them for popping open
not true. as long as you are not having issues with them. they can very well be there for decades. the new generations are extremely well made.
