I seriously don't understand all the illogical mass hysteria in the wold today. Banning/censoring any & every WORD with the slightest chance it invokes a negative thought. The Swastika was an Indian symbol of peace until some Bavarian dickheads copy & pasted it because they thought it looked cool. So what regardless. It was a dark part of history that must be taught so it's not repeated.
You can't even quickly follow reports/news without having to crack the Morse Codes of today by deciphering asterisks in place of all the censored words (info) that derive from or are even remotely related to the root word of As***lt for instance, which is also censored of course.
Came here from FNG Actually a sick video, really well explained and detailed. Mad that they went bankrupt twice and still survived in the end, and a lot of history with them And I agree, their kits are banging
i first found out about Venezia when Pippo Inzaghi was their coach - that got me hooked. The fact that you have to travel by boat to their stadium sold me on them. Their kits in this season ... they made me worship them
It seems like the club has found stability with new ownership. I really hope they manage to stay up this season. The instability of clubs in Italy is a big issue but it seems like current ownership won’t just throw the club to the side. I think you’re doing a great job switching to football content also. Your editing and presentation is so well done. I agree that I think you’d do a great longer documentary style video. The narratives and stories(because you weren’t a bland cut and dry CM YTer) you created in your career modes translate well over to the content you’re doing now. Hope you’re doing well my man and keep up the good work.
Yeah I’m hoping I can talk about the instability in general because my friend takes an Econ class in Italy and he tells me that the business model in general seems a bit off for clubs. But I appreciate it man, it’s definitely allowed me to think a lot more creatively than with career mode content. Just hoping the transition period itself ends sooner than later cos maaaan it’s a pain.
They have 4 different outfield kits. Home, away, third, fourth. All 4 of them are better than the previously best football kit ever made by humans. (2011/12 OM Marseille away kit)
Unfortunately they didn't survive this season, I discovered Venezia FC a few years ago (also mainly because of their beautiful kits). I was in Venice a few weeks ago and I got the 21/22 away kit from the official Venezia fan store in the middle of Venice. Since then I started supporting them (it is very hard to actually watch live matches from the number 20 in the Serie A when you live in The Netherlands, but sometimes I watch livestreams on the internet). This is a great video!! keep up the good work :D
@@olivier0511 ah okay, also I’ve been seeing some people recommend going a size up your usual. For example I’m a small on all football jerseys but do you think I should go for a medium? Idk if you can tell from wearing it?
I first heard about Venezia when Copa90 made a list about the most exciting recently promoted clubs to watch and featured Venezia in it, when they were under Filipo Inzaghi and Joe Tacopina. I watched a couple of matches and instantly decided that they will be my number one club in Italy.
@@Maqwellyeah that's good and all but I feel like I owe an apology to Chievo and Palermo fans cuz Palermo went down and we stayed and then we defeated Chievo which could have caused them to go bankrupt.
@@OcEleven I totally get what you mean but Venezia didn’t cause them to go bankrupt by just beating them. Palermo and Chievo just had bad financial management, it’s on them.
This was actually really good. Should do a video like this on Carpi FC, and why you support them. Im curious as someone who sounds from the US/Canada how/why did you develop your interest in lower level italian football?
Thank you! Tbh it was the first nation I truly explored outside of England at the time. The stories were incredibly intriguing to me and idk lower division clubs, especially those in Italy don’t get the recognition of some of the unique cultures they bring to the sport.
Hey man, just found your channel. Loving the content so far. Nice to see ASEAN peeps in the diaspora covering football and SEA footy in general. Keep up the great work!
I went to Venice a decade ago or so, and picked up one of their shirts. I think it was a fake, but honestly still one of the nicest shirts I ever owned. White collared shirt, one green sleeve, one orange sleeve. There was also a sport shop closing down across the road from the hotel and picked up all sorts of shirts. Morroco and Mexico kits, pink juve third kit, Shalke training gear and a Portsmouth shirt out of all clubs, for around €100 as it was their last week. Was a good holiday 🤣
I am so happy to see my Serie B-Z make it to Serie A. They’ll never take the place of my beloved Milan, but this year’s jersey is the only one I’ve bought in the last 20 years that wasn’t Milan. Glad you got as rowdy as I did on that promotion goal. Haha. Epic. Cheers dude.
I’d honestly love to, but they would take even more time than this and with how I try to aim for 3 uploads a week, it’s difficult. But again, it’d be really cool
My friend visited her friend in Venice who works for the Club gave her a bunch of Venezia Flags to take back. I didn't have a Club yet in Italy so I decided to Choose Venezia FC! Froza Venezia!
Theres also a ton others that fell in the recent years. The big lower level italian clubs that went bankrupt are Bari, Avellino, and Cesena in 2018. They were sent back to serie d. Varese collapsed in 2018. Varese had to make a new club called “Città di Varese”, which today is in serie d. Carpi also collapsed this year. They made a new club, “Athletic Carpi”, which is in serie d today. Now you might be asking, what happened to Chievo Verona? They’re in Terza Categoria. The Terza Categoria is 5 leagues before serie d. The more well-known clubs of Palermo and Foggia went bankrupt in 2019. Novara went bankrupt this year. And they’re in serie d now. Luckily, Novara have a chance of promoting to serie c since they’re in 1st. They were sent back to serie d too. Luckily, all the clubs that were sent back to serie d (except Varese and carpi) got promoted to serie c easily. Bari,Avellino,Foggia, And Palermo all play in the exact same group in serie c (group c) while Cesena plays in group b. Carpi, Varese, And Novara, like I said earlier, play in serie d to this day. Edit: As of today, Bari got promoted to serie b, novara got promoted to serie c, chievo verona will most likely apply to serie d and catania went bankrupt. (Catania will most likely play in serie d in 2022/23)
And let's not forget about the financial shit show that is Parma. Since 2001, the club literally went out of business 3 times. Each time, they returned.
Well, i live in a small town near Venice and for fuck sake that goal 12:42 I just exploded of happiness. I was also lucky, because six month later my friends and i went to Penzo stadium just to watch our team getting an historic win against Mourinho's Romas! It was simply beatiful! Just started a Venezia Career Mode, lost 5 games in a row 4-0. Two of them home games. My manager rating is 100 😂. I was wondering why that was the case.
The stupid higher league position rule is also used in Spain, except they actually play extra time at the end of the second leg, but instead of penalties they then decide who wins by league position.
