If ballistics are realistic, always use M193 over FMJ as it's the same projectile but M193 is loaded to a higher velocity.
This is what I've been using. It's penetrated IIIA and IIIA+ just fine so far.
Another UA-camr has done testing and says the standard FMJ is better than M193. I guess I'll have to test both myself.
How do yall make money in this? I struggle and die a lot and only way of getting any money seems to be tasks
@alexmaurice4274 I'm currently experimenting. Guns cost me the most when I die so I'm focusing on taking a back pack right now that's 5 slots high. Take magazine or of gun you find, take grip off, and it fits in 1x5 depending on gun/ barrel design. Can get about 5k in guns and another few hundred in attachments. Keep attachments that you normally buy so as not to have to buy again, same with guns. Sell everything else.
@@alexmaurice4274 Go to Hunter's Paradise, bring a large backpack. Take every weapon sight from an ak, and always take an enemy pistol since it fits into your empty pistol slot. If the enemy has the CQA1 right, click on the enemy's gun, and go to the part called CQA1 upper, and click detach. Take all the uppers from those guns, and any weapon sights from every other gun. After a while you should have a few of the keys from this location, open up the loot boxes and see if you can get any good whole guns full of attachments. There's a cash register in the outdoor cafe area, I've gotten $140 and $780 on different occasions. Rinse and repeat. You will also pull whole guns that are worth keeping for yourself, good armor sets, ears, helmets backpacks, etc. You can acquire full gear sets or just sell it all. I've brought back over $2k almost every time. It's also a decent place to farm grenades but I jus got into the habit of throwing them to learn the arc.
with tier 1 vendors you can also change the charging handle to f1(from gunny) for -2% reload time and if we have artisan you can buy rk-4 or rk-0 for better stats with m-lok 9 you can attach it to your m4 also mod grip have better stats for level 2 m4

Multiple AK top rails exist in game. The B33 dust cover and dogleg dust cover
Dogleg stays on top fr. You can use it w the ak hand guard from artisan, that allows grips. The b33 you can only use w the polymer hand guard
16:05 i will say, the MOD grip (the tan one) is just a straight upgrade to the Torque grip. Better stats all around.

It’s so funny that since all the attachments bsg used are real life products that gz can just use all of the same ones from tarkov
I just wish that MFG (and BSG, for that matter) would make the good/meta attachments align more closely to high quality ones IRL. EFT has tons of absolute airsoft tier alibaba crap that is as good or better than high quality legit gear that costs 5x-10x as much IRL. Haven't seen that issue in GZW too much but already things like the "Nylon M4 stock" being an upgrade over the standard seems like a stretch.
Most weapons companies love free marketing through video games.
@@Metaltacticali'm not sure why they didn't make the "better" M4 stock just a Magpul MOE.
But yeah that's a gripe i have with tarkov too. It's hilarious that BSG thinks the skeletonized grips are any good, those things are pretty much tailor made for airsoft and larpers.

0:49 you should have shown the JPGS gas block. If you want a stable M4A1 with level 2 gunny parts, use the DD stock, the JPGS Gas block, the SCH charging handle, any RIS2 grip, the SF3P device that is compatible with the RC-1, MOD-G Pistol Grip (the goldish looking pistol grip that's $68), and I like to use the red dots I pull of the CQA1's that bots have.
There are quite a few changes that was missed in this, the mod grip is the best level 2 grip, the dd buttstock is also better, the low profile gas block is good but the JPGS gas block is the best to grab .... for the foregrip, depending on your choice of recoil or other, tge RVG is the best, UTG is a good choice also, if you have the money the first m4 in the level 2 gunny, grab the X looking handguard (forgot the name) on it and make sure you have at least a 16" barrel ..... if done correctly you can get an average of +32 recoil reduction up to +35 depending on your choice

Isn't the Mod pistol grip better than the Torque? Also, the JPGS gas block seems to have better stats than the low profile gas block.
Hey Giga - awesome video as always! I was playing around with some stuff, and initially I thought the same as you as far as buffs and nerfs go with attachments. But I suspect that for reload time +% is a benefit, conversely a -% is a negative. For example a 30 round mag negatively affects the weapon more than a 10 or 20 round mag will, and a silencer negatively affects handling but improves recoil. I've built my weapons around this idea, plus considering your info on the hidden stats and they do seem to subjectively feel better. I'd be interested to see if you or others come to the same conclusion?
For starters the first town HPBT works just fine, you can also just use M193 Ball which is the round that was used by US forces in Vietnam, its a 55 grain FMJ that is designed to tumble inside the target so its tissue damage should be decent within 200m. M193 is also very high velocity and should work just fine against Level II - IIIA with no issue. M855 is good against Level III with M855A1 being good at penetrating Level III+ which is the games current maximum as I have yet to see level IV in game.
So glad we finally have a good game with realistic weapons and attachments that im not forced to play against cheaters and hackers. Good content man, I’m now subscribed.

I predict the week after next Tarky wipe will be dead compared to the usual flood.
I tried a bunch of foregrips and other items to check for stamina drain and so far the M4 I'm running is always 20s of ADS duration which makes me wonder if something isn't just broken with the attachments.
can't wait to see how the weapons stats / mod interactions gets flushed out as they work on the game.

So are the stats percentages additive or multiplicative? The gun stat lines would imply additive, but since it doesn't even show recoil reduction I'm asking.
I can't use the Specter sight because when I ADS in combat I get stutters and my FPS drops to half.

Correction, there is a PDC dust cover with a rail for AKs. I don't know if any traders sell it, but it can be looted from enemies.
I feel like the weapon handling is more to do with the sway while ADS rather than your actual ADS speed, but I'm not 100% sure on it. The longer barrels are a huge difference, they are much more accurate at range and when you get later in the game and are looking for more armor pen the higher velocity seems to make a huge difference in kill time.
Do all this and you’ll still get one tapped by a gangster with a Cold War era submachine gun
Need to add dust cover for more stats on the AKMN, as well as charging handles for AR's giving more reload speed even level 1
Are there attachments to reduce the sway for the Mosin (not with the PU scope) and M700? I've tried several scopes on both of them and any zoom past 1x is almost unusable unless you hold breath.

I have been rocking the black AK74 you can buy from Turncoat (I think it is?) lvl 1, been feeling great.
What are the base stats for the weapons? if the value is already low to begin with, percentage based increases are less effective than those guns with higher values. at that point I feel the only value is the ability to add attachments such as lasers, lights and scopes.
Pro Tip, at lvl 2 Gunny, the first M4A1 has a X7M-15 Handguard that u can not buy at him.
longer barrel less moa goes from 2.15 to 1.83. if you get 20' barrel from loot or at gunny 3 maybe then you get a moa of 1.11 and 20% muzzle velocity.
level 3 gunny only sells 18" barrel. But he does sell a modded MK18 for about 8K that has a 20" installed.
I can confirm that there is a dust cover for the AKs that has a rail, idk if it's the Bastion like Tarkov but I have found one on an AI I killed in Blue Lagoon, idk what level it might be available at the trader

There is atleast 2 ak top rail dust covers: pdc and b-33 and one of them you can loot of sawmill boss
For L1 M4 you can take the top rail thing off and put a scope on
On artisan yo can buy the BP -02 and mount a red dot sight or a sniper sight on it if you have an AK 47
you missed the best pistol grip for the m4 in your level 2 gunny build the best pistol grip available is the MOD pistol grip (FDE) to the left of the MOE grip its the best stats wise until you can purchase the daniel defence one for the mk18 and is available from gunny level 2
Are you sure arm stam drain needs to be negative? Doesn't arm stand drain determine how long you can ADS for before losing arm stam which would mean you need arm stam drain to be + so you can ADS for longer
The stat reduces the rate at which the stamina drains. Less drain is good.
Just like recoil time needs to be negative to be better. It’s weird but it makes sense.

its in early access and the pistols are kinda wonky
recoil reduction is what boosts recoil control. can literally watch the numbers change...
The lvl 1 gunny m4, should I put acog on it ?
Its all up to you, theres lanes in the starter towns that make it nice to have but I ran the Eotech till Gunny 2 (first lv 2 trader you'll get) who sells the Spectre.

ACOG is kinda meh in the game tbh, if you are willing to walk the few kilometers to your medium tier area, you can get Aimpoint T-1´s and other 1x sights especially from YBL.

Visibility is not the most important for sure but when your vegetation looks like they were made for a 1st graders diorama project it’s the most important to me 😂

Ok the fact we can’t see the amount of recoil control on our guns is kinda wack. If it’s so important that just a change in gas block and barrel attachment can drastically change the feel of a weapon we need to be able to *see* that at a glance.
Been really enjoying this game so far but some of these design missteps are frustrating to say the least hahaha

biggest annoyance to me was
if you Open a Weapon (inspect) it shows you all parts that fit on it in a Orange color
Exept only from your Inventory not from the Trader himself
@@LittleDanny9899 it seems like with the M4 at least, it shows compatible attachments in the vendor inventory too. Not sure if it works for other guns though
im new to this type of game and the detail to gun build is amazing . i was going for a game out of my element and boi did it go far out of my element.
i just love how you build a gun as if its a puzzle . like nah this just fits here and then that here . and magic you got a gun hehe lol

i think it does but I believe the weight of the weapon has a much bigger impact on that.
I find it dumb that you can't make the og classic GWOT M4 SOPMOD from Gunny 1
they dont even sell the sopmod stock at any trader level, yet you can see the AI in base walking around with it its so infuriating that they stock the vendors with dogshit stocks that no one uses IRL (not including the ctr) and a bunch of hypebeast tier accessories
The AK is currently bugged, the only weapon worth buying until it gets fixed is the M4, don't bother with anything else...

Arm stamina drain NEEDS to be POSITIVE! You won't start noticing it until like +13% or so, but at +13% you get 24 seconds of ADS time. Stop spreading misinformation please Mr. Big Streamer Boy.
