It didn't struggle with 150 kg tbh , it could still get off the light fairly quick , quicker than the cars at least , and at speeds around 90-100 with a lighter pillion it was very nice , and it didn't seem to dislike it , and overall even though it was not designed for heavy riders or two up , it can do it well .
I don't think you ever really get the gas mileage the the manufacturer claims. It all depends on how you ride. Also like you, I don't want to go to work wet either. Good video!!
Hi pal, just came across your vids re this bike, I'm considering this (2023 model) or the Kawasaki Z125 Performance, you clearly like the Suzi, do you still have it? my question is how tall are you? the Suzi is a little lower than the Kawi and at 5"11" not sure if the Suzi would feel a little cramped, being lower and the seat hump/stop malarky.
Howdo mate, yeah I really rate the Suzuki.. I’m 5ft9 and am even considering buying another to commute on.. I sold the one in the video last year and instantly regretted it.. have you not considered a Honda cb125r? I’ve a mate who had one and he’s a 6 footer.. if it is a straight shootout between the kwak and Suzuki there’s really only one choice in my opinion.. good luck dude
for anyone curious i get about 65mpg riding like an absolute menace, not sure ill ever find out what it would be if i drove sensibly cause its too bloody fun
@@NorthernMotovlog I’m 18 and might be getting it. I was wanting a mt 125 for the bigger bike feel, but cudnt find a deal any where so said I’d settle for gsx s125. It’s just so small!
I like those little 125 cc. With my weight it’d run like a 50cc pocket bike ahaha. Good video man.
Cheers dude, I’m not exactly a featherweight meself 😂

We’ve had ours 2 up and it was decent

Belter of a day T ride 👌👌
Added a few extra miles 😂👌
@@NorthernMotovlog loving it 👍
The GSX S 125 seem to be hard to find in the US.
Really? That’s a shame fella, they are a decent little thing.. I’ve seen the gsxr over there so I’d assume Suzuki dealers did sell them though
I think it would make a great commuter bike! How does your wife like it?
The wife thinks it’s Beltin, however she now works from home so it’s just for fun for her.. size and power wise it’s great for the wife though
American roads. Sure most Americans start on like 600cc bikes, never a 125
My mrs loves the 125.. tbf so do I 😂 and I’ve been riding sportsbikes since the early 90’s.. the 125 is just fun and makes a great change

@@webb555 the honda cb125r has a big feel about it too and I know of a great big Sasquatch local to me who learned on one recently… he loved it..
