- After Rescuing my old Honda CBR900rrx i Finally got her out on her FIRST Ride in 12 Years.. I`d been missing off here for a few months while i put her straight, join us on a ride and i`ll tell you what she needed to be returned to road going condition in time to be used on the Longest Day Challenge 2024..

I've been riding for nearly 40 years,owned over 30 bikes and ridden loads more,that model Blade is the nicest one I've ever ridden, Honda just got everything right.
Yeah I’ve gotta agree mate, I’ve owned alsorts over the years and been riding over 30 years meself… this actual bike isn’t the best example, in fact it’s a bit rough up close however it was immaculate when I sold it 16 years ago and I wanted her back.. regardless of cosmetics it’s still quite a capable bike although more classed as a sports tourer these days 😂
I have fond memories of us ganging up through Scotland with you on Lola n me on the Pig. 💪🏼😎 But by eck lad that big blue wheelie bin was stunning 😝😝😝
I have some ace memories of us out on Lola and your sp1 mate!! Great times!! And I couldn’t resist the bin 🤣

Fantastic video of a fantastic bike.. Well done. I'm in the process of bringing a 1997 CBR900RRV Barn-Find back from the dead (got some videos on my channel if you're bored. I'm a long way off getting out on the road like you though :). Keep up the good work and please more videos of the blade :)
I’ve been following you for a while dude, these old blades are great bikes.. this one was mine originally and I’ve wanted her back since I sold her… loving watching yer rebuild… so I kept mine a bit quiet so there was only yours out there 👌 there’ll be more of Lola soon!

Parts still easy to get for these bikes? Might buy a used one in a few months.
Loads of parts out there mate and the price of them has just dropped back to a more realistic level…
@@NorthernMotovlog very tempted, as im looking to invest in my first big bike but more so want something to preserve and keep safe for the long run. These bikes were simply out of reach back in the 90s as a kid however i feel a need to snap one up now before they become possibly more collectable and costly. The gen 1 models with the round headlamps seem to cost a bomb so this is probably the next best thing. Subject to insurance of course lol.
