Wow that thumbnail rock looks super cool. I recently found a rock which looked like a fossilized egg with a cracked shell-like appearance. Had to reach out to a certified paleontologist who kindly reviewed photos of my find. He said that egg-shaped rocks are some of the most common inquiries paleontologists are hit with. Haha. His determination was that it’s very likely just a regular ole rock, but couldn’t be certain without seeing it in-person. I might get a 2nd opining or just slice it open otherwise. 😂 Good luck rock-hounding! Smash up those gob-stoppers and try panning them down. 🤫
You are a true adventurer. I have watched a lot of rockhounders on UA-cam and you are the best yet! Your respect for nature and rocks is genuine and I can tell you are honest.. and you find amazing stuff! Don’t ever change!
