I wish I’d saved more towards retirement rather than end up decluttering things I bought and never used. I have to quit beating myself up over it. That is right Mira this is your first time decluttering everything so 2nd time around you will be in a different place with it & you have gotten rid of so much. We had a freebie curb side pick up over the weekend so I put out a bunch of items for that. We have loaded up the car with the left over items to be donated it feels so good. We are decluttering to downsize & move in the next year or 2 so our first pass has been many car load donations & a dumpster hired & filled. The house is not done yet but wow it feels good to wake up & know you are not in the same place we were months or even a year ago. That helps depression we keep on motivating each other through your vlogs. Thank you so much!!!
Your dogs seem like great company! Thanks for letting us see the decluttering; very helpful! Like you said about the shoes; it takes longer thinking about it than doing it. I have a problem with that also.

When it comes to sorting clothes, I have a friend who taught me to keep three bins in my closet, named faith, hope and love. Faith is for clothes I really believe I will wear again, but in another season. Hope is for clothes I hope will fit me again some day. And then Love is for clothes that really keeps in them some important memories.

Mira have you thought of cutting up your tees and prepping them for your quilt. That way you will be able to cut down on the bulk of items just wondering?i know you have a lot on your plate please don’t over think this. I’m just glad your taking care of yourself. Mira since you didnt get much money from Thread up i would try a consignment store. I live in a rural small town and there are several stores hrer that will take your clothes and sell them on a commission and even ones that will buy them outright from you with no fees so you can get more money from them. Just call around and i bet you will find several stores close to you. Love you!
Well my largest collection is TY Beanie babies. But largest collection overall is mine & my hubby's CD collection. We also have a lot of records... he has a large collection of tshirts... but i did the Kondo method and it really helped me make some good decisions about what I actually love to wear and what materials i hate. I also have a large book collection but have paired that doen to a few favorite authors and then some 1 offs. 📚 I love Marvel and all these fun t-shirts but with lack of money, I can't get into buying all the things. I started getting a bigger collection of art and craft supplies so that has been fun....🥰💝💜💚🪻
Sad to say when we die they don't come with us please donate to others that it will give joy and keep a few that really have cheerished memories. If you have children one day they will love that you donated and didn't keep it for them to toss out or worry about what to do with those items
Hi Mira,I would soo much like to help you with organizing your clothes , but I live in Europe 😄...maybe try sorting clothes be patern and color. Let's say all red "t" on one pile and choose to keep just 1 that really fits...seems crazy,belive me I HAVE BEEN THERE 😀 I was a shopoholic for many years and in 2 mounths I had to" recover" well my life situation pushed me and I'm glad now I see through . Now I understand and know me priorities...You'll get there...😉🙋🏻♀️ Angie
I’m going room by room. It would take too too much effort to gather everything within my house in one category. I believe The Marie K Method works for people that are not excessive clutters. Those that have control over their house. Not us. I’m enjoying your videos and I keep working. It’s definitely a process
