Wow! You are the first one on UA-cam that ive ever heard say, "we are Going to jump right into it." And then actually does. Most creators say that after talking for 2 minutes or more. I enjoyed your video. Best Wishes from Montana! M.H.
I have the Bushcrafter LT in 3V, the Aurora in A2, and the Aurora Scandi in 3V and love them all. I use the Aurora Scandi the most, because the length and scandivex is pefect for what I do, including batoning. I like convex grinds and enjoy using and shapening them, you can just touch them up on a strop for a long time before having to put them on the stones for an apex reset. And I have not had any issues with chipping. The handles have good purchase and no hotspots for me. Are they too expensive? --IMO the pricing is okay considering the warrantee.
Miss DBK auction so I got a bravo 2. Ordered Wednesday got on Friday in GA. But it’s too heavy too thick to do any hiking unless u want to baton half a log to sit on when u camp. It bounces off wood chopping but it batons like a maul. And it drops toward tip more than pictures look. Maybe makes a good survival knife? I have a joker nomad 6.5 I love and wanted a BR. Almost went w Aurora 2 wish I had but now I’m sure I’ll go w a bravo 1 or Aurora 1…or that Cub…in a year or 2 😢 $$ I like the close up and lighting you have it really helps…I don’t think I’d pick the big striped handles but they cooler on websites. 👍
I've been hearing about it. I look for and find flaws. First I tell myself that nobody over in Michigan has to care if I am overjoyed. Next I tell myself they will cut and I won't tell the difference if they were perfect. I used to live and die by the fact only knives are Worth more than they cost. Now I accept folks saying it's too much money. From certain vantage points they aren't wrong. I'm not getting the value that I used to feel I was getting.. live n' learn.
@ssunfish there's quite a bit of "luck of the draw" with brk. But I have to hand it to them: they push out A LOT of knives on a regular basis and that's something to be appreciated as there's definitely something for everyone.
Ha, pretty similar set here, just in reverse order. Started with some Auroras (Auroræ?), added a thin hunting knife (Fox River Ext-1), then got Bravo 1.25 LT and Cub. Thinking of de-ramping the Bravo since it feels like it's positioned a bit too far back for my XXL hands, but I'm still getting used to it. Nice variety! I'd really like to add an Aurora II and the Ultralight Field model.
@@chucknunface For sure; it’s the next one I’m after. Yours looks fantastic in my opinion. The Aurora handle fits great, whereas the handles on the Bravo and the Cub are on the small side for me and simply aren’t as comfortable.
Something that has no effect on function and cannot be noticed by 90% of those who look at it is should not be sent back imho. After all, these knives are created freehand by craftsmen. So each knife is unique in minor ways. I am waiting for one of their large fighters to show up. Unobtanium currently. I have a Fin and Bone 1st run Magnacut and a B1 in Cru Wear. Thank you for the video!
After seeing how the owner talked to a customer after he had questions about a knife. I would never pay that kind of money. It baffles my mind the money there getting for a production knife. I’ve also read a good bit of complaints about chipping . I could never justify taking a risk when many other cheaper options do exactly the same thing.
Nice knives. You had to send two of them back to be fixed? ......🤔 I have an Aurora LT and it's pretty good - except that it seems to my eye to kinda slant to the left... Look down the spine of your barkies. Are they all straight? Apparently it's a thing... 🤷🏼♂️ This brand baffles me. Semi custom (possibly even custom?) prices, but their QC is all over the place.
If I wanted to pick nits, I could most of them back. The Aurora Scandi I sent in I did a couple vids on if you want to watch them. I sent the Cub in just because I was already sending one so I figured, why not?
How do you sell your knives? I definitely need to cull my collection, but I'm unsure of how to go about selling them (facebookmarketplace, bushcraftUSA, Craigslist, Etc) Thanks!
I use Instagram and BladeForums. I have cultivated a decent size following on IG over the years so it's "usually " not too hard. BladeForums is nice too. You need a gold level membership to sell there.
For those interested: A2 camo g10 bravo - SOLD Aurora 2 -$290 I also have my Erickson Hunter in w2 for $265 (345 table) and a DLT Reiff F4 3v for SOLD Ultralight Field Knife is sold. Best is to message me on IG @chuck_nunface Thanks!
Freaking no way ! $300 knives with that uneven of an edge is absurd. That is way off on that Arora...Man ive heard they have issues but dang that ridiculous. They supposedly look over all their knives by 3 phases of different people inspecting them....I call bull crap on that quality control statement . They look amazing at first but honestly they are all just too dang thick . I would spend money on an LT Wright blade collection instead. Knives dont need to be that thick its wasted steel and added unnecessary weight. I do like their Gunny and buahcrafter designs they look really cool but price wise its a collectors club.
Great knives my friend 👍🏻 the Bushcrafter is my favorite model . They really fit my large hands perfectly. Just bought a Bushcrafter 2 last week. All the best to you.👌
If you want to collect knives, for some reason, that you don’t care what it cost and will never use, they will never pass the test of time, just stuff you payed to much for,not the tool it was ment to be!

Bravo 2 is really big. Bravo 1 is also thick. The A2 one i have is really nice
Great look at some very nice blades!! I love my Barkies but man their QC needs to improve.
Not gonna argue with that

Nice collection. I like the Aurora series best. I don't think there's much an Aurora 2 wouldn't be able to handle.

Got into the brand years ago watching virtuovice. Only started the collection after seeing how cool Mike Stewart is and how he runs his business.
I've been aware of them for a while, but only recently got into fixed blades more. I'm also new to Virtuovice
I’ve seen the opposite, anytime anyone brings up an issue he’s turns into a deluded little spastic
Okay, Cub is cool, but I got Cub EDC! It's walnut with brass hollow pins! It is double good in my eye!!!! Great design family!
I like that one too. Might have to give it a whirl
Awesome knives
They aren't perfect, but brk offers a ton of variety
They have really nice sheaths or used to
The older ones were better

Thanks for checking it out. There's a lot of real estate between "Unique Ave" and "Wonky AF blvd" however.
That cub is awesome. It reminds me of a small tope bravo
How big is the topo bravo? 😳
nice taste
Thanks. I only have 1 bravo and Aurora now though.
Seriously nice lineup of BRKs. Add in a Trakker and you're ready for the apocalypse😊.
Sounds like a plan 😃
Some beautiful knives Brother
Thanks and thanks for always dropping a comment. 👍🏼

I've only dealt with anyone from the company once, and it was a good experience
also, their quality control is inexcusable for their price point. I'll stick with LT Wright
Alright fine, how much for the cub? Haha, that was the one I really wanted when I bought my LT1, still need to grab one.
Yeah man that's the model that pulled me in. Ergos are awesome. Definitely pick one up sometime.
Great collection brother 👍😁
Thanks, dude! I'll be thinning it out a little here though
What are you thinking on the ultra light? I don't have IG
I moved it along already, buddy🤷🏻♂️
I want the short one on the middle
👍🏼
Have a bravo EDC by any chance?
I don't. I would have included it if I did

I like them but I don't have most of the ones featured in this video anymore
The sheaths for all of them are terrible, and you have 2 get lucky , and get a tip that isn’t burned. DO NOT PURCHASE
The sheaths are...ok. I had some duds
Not sure brk is putting out that much more than wrk or Bradford. As the more expensive across models brk should just do better
I'm not familiar with wrk but Bradford, while quality, don't have nearly the variety of brk. I agree that they should work on their qc however.
