I was following along in FL Studio, I couldn't get the vocoder effect to be exact but after my friend and I messed around for a while I got a similar effect by vocoding the serum patch to white noise from 3x osc with Vocodex, with 5 bands, relatively quick attack and release and relatively long hold, RMS hold mode, and modulator pitch shift all the way down :)
You did what now? Lol I have so little operational knowledge of Vocodex at this point, how do u vocode the serum patch to white noise? I guess I only know how to just drop vocodex in a channel or open it in Patcher…

Do you mean for the kick to hit super hard? I feel like i hear the hit of the kick over everything and not sure if thats meant or not. Should the kick come more casual

Yeah thats pretty normal but you can mix that kick down to taste for sure, the sidechain makes it pop out too
