Meet Teddy! Teddy is an 11 year old, short-haired orange tabby. This big, charming boy is quite the love bug!
Teddy was originally surrendered to SCAC after his life-long owner passed away. Change is very hard for Teddy, but once he has warmed up to you and knows he can trust you, he is a very loyal kitty. Teddy was adopted from us at one point and unfortunately returned when the adopter had to move across the country and couldn’t take Teddy with them.
During his time in the home, the adopter had nothing but good things to say about this sweet boy. He enjoys sitting with you on the couch, sleeping in bed with you, and following you around the house like a little shadow.
Teddy can be a very affectionate kitty and is overall quite mellow. He often rolls over and asks for belly rubs from his favorite people at the shelter.
Teddy also enjoys his big fluffy bed and spending time out on the catio. Teddy loves mealtime! He is currently on a mild diet to help him lose a few pounds, but is overall a healthy senior kitty.
Teddy does need to be the only pet in the home (no cats and no dogs), but he does get along with older, respectful children. If you are interested in opening your home to this sweet, loyal boy
