That breaching charge on the wall is actually thermite which is way worse idea then you suggested with C4.
Thermite gets really hot realky fast, use that thing in a building and you just got yourself a nice burning house.
If you don't that bremstone change have a mixture of C4, gun powder, metal oxide and thermite

Suspension of disbelief is part of games even simulators to an extent but this series is meant to cut past the bullshit and acknowledge the accurate things.

Ngl that was smooth.
Something they didn't mention about concentina wire: it is pointy, but it doesn't really cut you. It is designed to grab clothing and hold you in place so it can stop your mobility, until a nearby gunner can get to you. It is crazy strong. A triple strand (3 rolls) of concentina wire can actually get tangles in the treads of a tank and stop it. It's incredible, but it is made for gripping, not cutting.

General grievous You can see FSB members doing what is called “confidence training” which basically means that they put each other at risk with real ammo to gain...well, confidence. I don’t know if the SSO or GRU does it too (I would bet that yes, they do) but the only videos I’ve seen are from FSB members or former members.

I'd love to see them go back and be shown all the different operators on offense and defense. Instead of them just being used in-game, but also the group they're coming from. Professionals like them would know at least rudimentary knowledge about the SAS and the GIGN to bounce ideas around.

They ranged the target assuming that it's scaled the same as reality. The front sight post covered the entire shoulder width of Target. If it was true 20 meters, that wouldn't happen.

100 meters or 100 feet bullet drop is definitely not that significant. It drops maybe 2 inches at 100 feet

Rainbow six did used to be fairly realistic. Rainbow six 1 through Raven Shield were not that far off. Vegas is when it became more of an arcade game. People don’t want tactical realism anymore. It doesn’t sell.

ACOGs are solar powered scopes, in rooms with combinations of natural & unnatural light it could cause a hazzy view on the reticle. Making it unprofessional for thermite as a CQB character

We had guys who trained with shields in the unit I was in, in the Marine Corps. Just depends on the job. I was an MP and they were the equivalent to SWAT

its because of the FOV, and they didnt notice the marker saying 25m. pause at 2:07 and look how close the hand is to the screen. siege is max 90 FOV whereas humans actually have about 180 or so. anyone who has shot a pistol in real life knows u dont put the pistol that close to ur face. u can do the same thing with ur own hand and see how close u would need to place ur hand to get the same thing as in the game. since it's so "zoomed in" in the game, it looks like 100m to them (plus theyre looking at a TV from far away). so what's happening is they're judging it as if the screen was their real-life FOV and assuming the guy is holding the gun properly about 2 ft away from his face, but in actuality the game "zooms in", which we cant do with our eyes
@@raidenxt8737 There is literally no scenario when that can be seen as 100 meters. There is no scenario where you can even see it as 50 meters. A fucking 10 story building is like 35 meters tall. I love these guys but that comment was just plain stupid, does not matter the fov, does not matter he tv, there is no acceptable reason for them to say it is 100 meters. It is like 12-15 meters MAX.

A "silenced" 5.56 rifle is probably 140 to 155 decibels, if not louder. In comparison, a jet engine is between 120 and 140 decibels.
All those room clearing less than lethal and lethal explosive charges really jack your brain up after tons of reputations. The majority of my former platoon is showing signs of CTE in various stages.
