This is by far the best deck to watch Trump play.
I've been giving Trump a hard time lately due to his bad play, but he got me back with this video. Its foolish of me to think Trump should have these decks mastered week 1... Trump has found a very strong paladin deck. Even Thijs says he's having a hard time making pally work, but Trumps got it down pat.
I wish everyone was as level-headed as you. The comments on the most recent video were fucking atrocious and the people giving him so much shit should be ashamed of themselves.

I dont even play Hearthstone anymore, watch streams whenever i have time. but i still watch Trump's videos xD He always explains, his plan, strategy, what can happen and everything. Never gets boring. This is why he is the best hearthstone player,streamer, UA-camr!!! And this by far the best deck i have seen so far in this expansion.

I thought Blizz's idea of Goons being a kind of "Know when to hold 'em" cards was a bluff, but the flexibility of choosing between value and tempo is surprisingly cool, especially in Paladin.
Do you know the best part of seeing Trump playing this deck? He is actually having fun, not just faking it for watchers! :)

This is like HIS deck this expansion; As Amaz is to priest Trump is to Buffadin.
I guess, but is this really difficult to put together? Put a bunch of minions with minion buffing cards.
It's good against renos but sucks against pirate warriors. Maybe in a slower stable meta I would play this deck but not now.
***** It still wins against pirates due to having a ton of low drops. Pirate is like a 55/45 matchup though, but you usually still win with buffadin.

Jia Rong Lee he's said to have been playing since the beginning of hearthstone, some say that he's defeated an entire deck with one golem, they can even catapult rocks miles on that one map (you know the one). And just when you think your safe, you get crushed by their Aya.
i feel that if you lack an ideal start you get run over by aggro to easily. also drawing into only one or two buffs early means you have(usually) a bunch of average stat minions. i think it does well in slow matchups because you just generate immense value and crush them. but even other midrange decks are hard to compete with.
The shenanigans that this deck creates are incredible. I love it.

Buffadin is probably my favorite new archetype. So much fun to put out low cost high stat minions.
that deck is just too dirty. i love it. i built a pseudo buffadin deck (because im noob and dont have a lot of cards, but do have dopplegangster and a few buff cards) and so far it's just dirty and a lot of fun

yes and no, this mechanic works really well in some decks, and really bad in others( had some 12runs and 2 that only went 2
Considering the mage-heavy ambience in arena, where they have spells for days in which many will eventually counter you, the deck would need a strong draw engine to keep up. And do note that two of the most reliable cards for such are Epic quality, very hard to find in arena. Which is trully sad.

alex morrison so true. Just wish Wickerflame is not a legendary then aggro decks may suffer a lot.
This deck is also very versatile depending on the current meta due to the sheer amount of crazy 1 and 2 drops at your disposal.
It's so much fun watching Trump play this deck. So much greed and value. Mhhhm.

Just tossing this out there, on the off chance it inspires you... consider building Jade Rogue less like a midrange deck and more like a tempo deck.

Mistress of mixtures and swamp ooze seems like they could fit this deck while pirate warrior is flavor of the month
So I don't have the cards to play this deck, but can someone inform me whether Nerubian Egg could be a pick over the Bruisers? Argent Horserider proved to be a nutty pick because it was a fast card after AoE, which this deck needs, and because with just one buff it can be comboed with Keeper to kill any card after a board clear. Egg is the same, but comes with the additional bonus that if it's buffed with Smuggler's Run or Outfitter then it just completely crushes Pirate Warrior. I presume that's why the Bruisers were added for more Taunts, but the egg has some extra use.
Also, I'm bad at the game so to me Trump looks like he's making the right play all of the time. Keep up the good work!
Paladin is the reason why I have teched in Mass Dispell for priest.

I'd play the first version of your deck, but drop the Keepers and Fight Promoters for Mistresses of Mixtures and Small Time Recruits. You easily beat the Reno decks anyway, so I think it's better to hedge your game against Scum Warrior and other similar SMOrc decks.
I run cyclopian horror in my version. It's really good against the smorcy decks and has good stats even if not hand buffed.

Pirate warrior - i think we should think new ways to improve the game.First we should nerf some mechanics.Taunt: when you play a taunt minion your hero gain taunt.Heal: heros can't be healed.Now we should buff se cards.Patches 1 mana 30/30 charge ignore taunt, when you play a pirate summon this minion.Firy war axe: whenever you attack destroy that annoying things in the board
Paladin seems to be the only class that got enough buff support to work. The problem with Hunter and Warrior is that their hand buffs only affect on minion at a time and are too specific. (Fight promoter may as well be a Paladin card.) Honestly I think Blizzard kinda messed up there.
Jaco The beast related buffs for hunter have been working very well for me. Primarily the Smuggler's Crate.
6:25 this is a good example of why I feel playing against an aggro deck is fundamentally not enjoyable.
you spend the entire game on the defensive, and when the tables finally turn and you're able to start actually enjoying the core strategy and playstyle of your deck, the game is over, because the opponent has ran out of steam. so if you enjoy playing decks that are late-bloomers you rarely get to experience the satisfaction of seeing your strategies take effect.
Man i want this deck so bad! Grinding like a madmen to get these packs right now :D
Idea for a Paladin weapon... a shield with zero attack & 3 or 4 durability... its effect would be your hero takes half the damage, lose one durability when your hero takes damage.

he should consider playing double blubber baron in this deck.
His buff warrior deck was bad because it didn't run the taunt theme. With mostly taunts you can get grimy gadgeteer to live for multiple turns and make your hand able to beat jade golems.
I've been playing with different iterations of this deck since the release and I'm hovering around rank 9-10. I seem to lose to pirate warrior and reno lock every time, and that right there is about 50% of opponents. Pretty frustrating.
my buffdin use murloc and darkshire steward, if they got buff, good, flood the board with high health 1,2 drops. if they don't get buff, they will have divine shield.

I run a fairly similar list and found myself frequently tempted to add cold light seer after getting run over by Hunter tokens, and Early Aggro. How good of an idea is Coldlight Seer?

12Rman21 The thing is, you can't go mid/late game against the Buff and Jade decks. The cards get so OP you gotta use removal on 2 drops and you can't compete for value trading minions. This deck is much more fun to watch but I think it is just as cancerous as face mage/warrior to overall gameplay.

Im no pro(I actually suck) but I would think this would need some spells to be viable. I really want to create a Buffadin deck though, it does seem like a blast to play.
Vikingr Fmly but it has some spell-like minions peacekeeper etc and charge minions turned out to be effective as direct damage. it is still a hard matchup against aggro though.
Well the argument Trump gives is that you make the deck weaker when you would put in spells since you will get much less value from your buffcards. I think I can agree to that since having these buffed minions help you with getting a huge boardswing anyways.
