Slippers, mittens and a pet jacket!! Do it all... we are here with you. Always great ideas. You are a pleasure to watch Ms. Sherry.
That sounds amazing. Thank you so much.
Sherry, both you AND that hat are just plain ol' darling ❤
Sounds like you had a true Waltons childhood. Farm life is hard. You may not have had a lot of material things BUT I bet you were surrounded with siblings, fun and love.
Hi Donna, yes, I had a pretty good childhood and I'm so grateful for it and thank you for all those lovely kind words.
Cute hat! I think that orange fleece would make a nice cozy rice-filled neck warmer. They are great to heat up in the microwave and wrap around your neck and shoulders when they are achy. It's not very creative, but it is very useful!
I really like that idea. Thank you for sharing. I am a practical person and that would be very useful.
Love the bucket hat!❤ My husband does a lot of biking…which is a spring activity…transform it into a biking vest…the color is good for visibility…with pockets in the back for water bottle…the top is a stretchy sports material.
I love the idea and it would be so nice and warm.
Such a cute hat! You could go with a 60's flower power vibe with the neon top. ☺️
Thank you and that would be cute!
Make it into hats. Both base ball and bucket hats. I love your bucket hat .
Like the accessories from the Velvet skirt. I was thinking hunting vest? Keep the childhood stories coming!
I'm glad you liked what I made and the stories. Thank you so much!
A Halloween bunting for the porch? Some black silhouette cut-outs on each triangle would be cute.
That would be adorable.
You could make a pair of slippers with denim on the bottoms…maybe a matching scarf :)
It is a really soft fleece. That would be so comfy. Great idea!
If you have any scraps left over you could make a cute pumpkin
That is a great idea!
The hat turned out nice.
I would cheer up a danim jacket with that sweater. Remove or leave pieces of denim and put pieces of sweater on or in. Maybe I would do some free hand machine embroidery quilting over the orange fabric. Flashi.
That would be a fun use of it. I like your ideas! Thank you so much for sharing!
It's a great hat! I love that it's reversible! The sleep mask is elegant too. I like the stories. I actually would keep the fleece as is for evening dog walking because we wear safety vests. How about leg warmers and or slippers?
I'm glad you liked that hat. I hadn't made one in quite awhile so it was a risk on my part...ha ha. Your ideas are awesome. Thank you and I'm glad you liked my story.
A hat, scarf, and mittens. Or a vest.
What a great idea! Cute hat!
I enjoyed your story and really like the personality in your videos.
Good idea on making a not-garment. Or make a hunting vest and be done with it ;-)
Also, I also would prefer to see you work with more summery stuff. If it counts, I say you can throw back the winter fabrics starting now through October!
Thank you so much!
Make some little plushies and donate them to a place that distributes them to kids experiencing trauma. Kids love bright colors!
Vest for walking on road, safety!🤟
When my siblings and I were growing, four of the five of us would sneak out on the roof to play when my parents were gone. It really wasn't that high (it was the pitched roof over the garage), but we thought we were brave and adventurous. My youngest brother was eight years younger than me (maybe four or five at the time). We wouldn't let him on the roof with us, so he told on us and we got in trouble. Unfortunately, he was killed instantly in a MVA 24 years ago on Mother's Day, along with his 25 year old buddy, just a month after his 27th birthday. I miss him dearly, still, and really treasure that memory, even if he did get us in trouble. Lol
It sounds like you had lots of adventures too. I'm so sorry your brother and his buddy died. That is so sad and on Mother's Day too. He died so young. That is so sad.
@@SherryJonesDesigns We did. Thank you. 💕 A very sad tragedy, indeed.
Childrens mittens, a curved airplane pillow, or a car pillow with a velcro strap to go around the crossbody seat belt
Wow! Those are awesome ideas! Very creative!
I love that neon jackeeeet! looks the right size to make an igloo for the cats, with matching cushion.
Hey! That is a great idea! ....or a fluffy cat bed of some kind! Thanks!
I made one from my granddaughter fleece sweater turned out cute. Mand utube tutorials over these and very simpl e if you need a break. @SherryJonesDesigns
I love the color and, it would make a great plush animal you could donate. However a nice tote would look great also. Maybe a muffin for a little girl
Those are really good ideas! Thank you for sharing!
Hunting vest! With har and muff type hand warmer!
Love the idea. It would make a good vest with the zipper already installed too!
Make a cat bed. Look up using a jumper/sweater to make one. I've made one from an old acrylic one my husband had and the cat &vdog both loved it.
I am considering the cat bed as I could use a few more. It is so soft though that I'm tempted to make something to wear with it....so torn...ha ha
Try putting ribbon around the crown where it meets the brim and see if that makes it the right size
That is a great idea! Thank you!
Great story!
I like the neck warmer idea. How about mittens and a scarf.
I like those ideas as I don't want to make something that won't get used and those ideas are very practical. Thank you.
Oh I love that hat !!
Thank you :)
I enjoyed your entire video today 😊
Thank you so much. That is very encouraging.
Stuffed pumpkins
I like the idea of adding denim. Could you enlarge it just by putting a strip of denim down the side seams and arm seams.
That is a great idea!
How about appliqués a deer head or just the antlers on the front.
Not a bad idea at all as it is super warm and nice as it is.
a hunting vest.
A vest with denim.
I do think denim would look great with it. Great idea!
Some sort of hunter vest or hat….men wear that color for hunting. Just a suggestion. ☺️
Thank you! It would be warm too!
My first thought was a cat bed, or liner for recycled sweater mittens?
Love the ideas! I do have cats too and mittens would be fantastic. It is incredibly soft.
Love the thumbnail shot! LOL 😂 I want to make a hat from bath towel, Sherry do you think bath towel needs to be stabilized for the brim?
I think so because towels are kind of floppy. That would look so cute though!
How about slippers or sock?
Oh, they would be sooooo cozy! Great idea!
Try a tote or a vest.
Those are great ideas! Thank you!
Wrist warmers from the sleeves?
Do you have enough velvelt over for a rose pin on your hat?
Idea for orange fleece sweater. Cat bed
A pin would be lovely! Great idea!
Some thing for a small child to play with maybe some stuffed soft balls that can be thrown into a bin Will keep them happy or a simple toy . Slippers for kids or grown ups . A cushion 😅
It would be perfect for children's toys or items. Great idea!
I love your channel! How do I find your Discord?
In the description of the video is a link the The Happy Sewing Club. You click on it and then I think you can create an account with your Google account with one click and come into the Discord.
@@SherryJonesDesigns I already have a Discord account. When I click on it, it says invalid link.
How strange. Let me grab a fresh link from it and put it here. Let me know if it doesn't work either.
