  • **Yes, I noticed the captions were messed up. They were correct when I edited the video so I'm not sure what happened to them. Just pretend the first one is 10 seconds later in the video and the second caption is at the end.
    In Part 4, I addressed a few issues such as the brakes, rear rack, seat cover and battery terminal. Stay tuned for part 5 where I will be finishing this project up and then doing a walk around/startup/ride video!

    Hey , can you tell me where the two hoses on the carburetor go?

    • @jpsgarage
      @jpsgarage  4 роки тому

      The hose coming out of the copper fitting is the fuel line and should be connected to the fuel tank. There are also a set of "vent hoses" that connect to the smaller forged metal outlets visible on the carburetor.

    I'd recommend getting a repair Manuel. On Amazon they are cheap, they save a lot of time troubleshooting and adjusting/maintaining your quad

    About to start a rebuild on my 96 timberwolf 250. Been sitting for a while. It was my dads. It's in rough shape. I don't really know what I'm doing so any references would be greatly appreciated!

    Hoping you can help me out I’ve got a 96 Timberwolf, going off what the serial number tells me. It was missing the air filter. I bought one however it seems there’s still something missing because I can’t seem to figure out how the air filter connects to the air intake. I’m wanting to say it’s the air filter guide missing now. Sound right?

      Theres a few things that could be missing, could be the air box, carb boot or the cage. I can't tell by your description but if you posted a video of the quad I'd be happy to watch it and tell you.

      Is there any writing on the front wheels? And how do you know that they are not right? If you are looking for tires and the rims are stock, you should be able to go on a site like Motosport and enter your year, make and model and it will show you which tires will fit.
