hey, just stumbled onto this teardown video. I was lucky enough to get a 92' for free, with a spare parts bike and 2 more engines lol...been plucking away at it, little by little...
it sat in a back yard, for probly 5 plus years. I got the axle shaft out, and pretty much all of the spinning parts need replacing in the carrier and the diff.

I lucked up today I found another Yamaha timberwolf for $400 so I have parts for mine now I needed the differential and on eBay there high as crap so I gotten a deal I feel like

I got a 96 timberwolf 250 2x4, what's a good diff oil to use for the rear differential?
After I put my brake drum on how tight do I get the axle nut. I put a new drum on and short time later I have a squeaking noise in front of differential I’m wondering if I over tightened axle nut. I only used a short 1/2 inch ratchet with not much force.
Do you have any videos to help me wire my 1992 Yamaha timberwolf harness?
I'm using a harness that's been cut.

Did you figure it out?
I replaced the bearings in my swing arm. Replaced with oem parts still has a 1/4 of side to side play. Went to yamaha shop pulled up the parts diagram. And nothing is missing I used correct parts
Did you remember to put the spacer back in the brake side hub?
I still have gap also
