Thank you for your very helpful links. I also loved your Lejog video, which is how I came across your UA-cam Channel. I live on the North Downs where there are lots of tough hills. They are not a problem with a large enough sprocket, but then I spin out at the top of the hill, and would like to fit a double chainring with a front derailleur. Thanks for the info, I'll let you know how I get on.
hi i know im late in the game but i want to convert my 4 speed p line with front derailleur but not sure of what front FD and clamp to get. any suggestions please
Hi, does the folding works fine with the FRONT DERAILLEUR? How does that work? I have just bought a chainring with 50/33t and was wondering if I should install a FRONT DERAILLEUR. All the best Helmut
@@pedallingalong Thanks for your quick answer! Which Derailleurs have you used?? Does the derailleur has to have a open end to make the folding possible??

Yes it is, thanks for watching. I have since installed a Sturmey Archer BWR hub and fitted three sprockets (minimods conversion kit) and rear derailleur, so I now have three internal hub gears, three rear sprockets with Brompton chain pusher derailleur, and triple front chainset with derailleur. 😁
@@pedallingalong Great to hear and nice job! I don't have that much room to upgrade cuz I have the Mkii 3-speed. Good to know that front derailleurs can work with models with no RD. Care to share the parts of your FD? Thanks for replying!

Folding is shown in the video.
Doesn't work with all front derailleurs, you have to carefully choose which one will fit
