But he doesn't beat you, he wins the matchup by counterpicking lol.
3rdanswer I think the confusion is the “leveling of the playing field” statement. Choosing to mirror would be leveling the field but counter picking is not. One can argue that Matrix doesn’t main these teams therefore he may be in a disadvantage going to an advantageous match-up but that only supports the fact that he choose that team to counter in the first place.
