Gosh how lovely is that room! What a privilege to stay in it. No, I don’t think I would pay that, but for people who money is no object, it would be acceptable. I wonder if the people who regularly have those sort of experiences, get the same feeling as I do when I have had a long holiday with so many lovely delicious meals, and come home to just want to eat beans on toast! Or do they continue to like the exotic style? Thank you for showing us a different world, Fraser. I hope you enjoyed your stay, and it did not spoil you to not enjoy your single cabin!
Don’t worry, Hazel - I was straight back into my Studio cabin after this with no window. I was amazed walking in here - very different to what I’m used to! I often wonder the same thing about what these people’s home lives are like. I also hope they appreciate every inch of these types of rooms - I was in awe and just stood looking at it for so long when I first arrived, ha!
That’s right - they have a huge arena here too with huge names performing - I was surprised to see that! Oh, I know - multiple cruises in my trusty inside cabins…!!
Thank you for the video. It's always lovely to see something new. The suite is absolutely beautiful, and the views are stunning, but there's no way I could ever bring myself to spend that much on just one night. I could get 3 decent holidays away for that 😂
Thanks so much for watching! Oh, I agree - we were so fortunate to spend 2 nights in this wonderful suite, but I wouldn’t spend that sort of money compared to what I could get for that money on a more ‘value friendly’ trip - I hear you!
What a great room but honestly don’t think,it’s worth the money , even for three people , but with all the hotel facilities maybe it is . We could never put it the test as we couldn’t afford it 😂
Is that extra bed in the living space always a bed, or is it a sofa or Murphy bed when not needed? Edited to add: not even on my honeymoon would I spend $1000/night, much less $2000, on that suite. It's very nice, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. 🤯
Dang, Mohegan Sun is a short way from my home. That casino and Foxwoods Casino are great. Foxwoods is much bigger. Both of these casinos seem much grander than the "Bond" casino in Monte Carlo. So, 1500 rooms at Mohegan would make it a small cruise ship, right? How does it compare to a cruise? I'd say, for the money per night, a cruise is better.
Oh, value for money is MUCH better on a cruise. The facilities in here are remarkable, but I found it to be mightily expensive - even a basic dinner cost us a small fortune, ha! I was overall SO impressed with the place though - the sheer scale of it was just SO impressive!
We live close by as well (probably less than 10 minutes). I've been to the casino area a few times, and much prefer the decor there to Foxwoods. Gambling holds no interest for me, though. Some of the restaurants are quite nice, though everything there seems overpriced. It's a pretty cool and impressive place to take visitors to, though. We did stay at a hotel at Foxwoods once, though, after attending a function. Of course, it was not one of the high-end suites, and was fairly small, but quite impressive nonetheless, with floor-to-ceiling curved windows and a fabulous view.
I can’t help but notice how minimally decorated the suite is. It’s ok, but actually seems quite boring and uninteresting in design. They need to engage an interior designer to make it worth anywhere near $2000/night. Sorry, just my opinion. As others have said, it’s a “high roller” suite…..they get it free. No one is paying the rack rate for that suite, but you enjoyed it and that’s all that counts.
Yeah, I do think this is probably one given to those making lovely and generous donations downstairs, rather than the general paying public 90% of the time. It was amazing to have so much space in a hotel room, but I totally hear you about minimal decor. I guess it's not lavish decor as the attraction needs to be downstairs where the money spending happens, ha!
While I like the view from the bath, I never understand why any bathroom needs two sinks…who really wants to wash side by side? Anyway, I love that you loved this suite so much, but as you asked, it’s not worth it to me - you could get two cruises for the price of a single night! And it’s so corporate and beige, not homely at all… I’m more a Hallmark Movies inn kinda guy! BTW, this is all rather gay of me, but I think you mistook an ottoman for a pouffe!
Ha, apologies for my ottoman slip up 😂 I do agree about the sinks - I never find a sink to be heavily used when I share a room with someone to the point where I need a second! I also agree about the cost - I think I’d rather take the two cruises(!). Thanks for watching and for taking the time to comment!!
Not all that great as those type of rooms/suites are given to high rollers on a comp basis. As other viewers said, the room is hardly decorated. Sorry.

Ha, just got back from a lovely cruise today and it was straight to the beans on toast… with cheese!
Love this! Quite a place! They have a lot of rock concerts there as well. Heck, that price is another cruise! 😂 Thanks Fraser!

Beautiful. I've been there several times but never had a room like that haha
Ahh, I had so much fun there. I’d love to go again at some point - maybe see you there!
Wow! It is a massive n gorgeous room
Oh, isn’t it just?! 🤩
Wow in another life
Oh, I know! So thankful to have had 2 nights here - doubt I’ll ever experience this again! 😮
During covid, Mohegan Sun was allowing people to book as many 1-3 nights stays as they wanted for free. It was the best deal on the planet!
Oh wow - that’s amazing - must’ve been to get money going through the machines downstairs?! Wow!
I have a feeling that the suite is often comped for certain players in the casino. I doubt everyone pays for it.
Ha, I had exactly the same thought - probably often reserved for the loyals…

Ha, I won’t be able to experience it again - don’t worry - you’re not alone there! Thanks for watching!

I believe it’s a bed they just bring in when it’s needed. If that wasn’t there, I suspect it would just be free space behind those sofas!

You are too good and stylish for that dump!!! Xxoo
Thanks for watching - it's some place though!!

Nice room but not worth the price
I may agree - I was surprised it was so much! 😮

I could pay my house mortgage for 2 months for the price of 1 night in this hotel room. Not worth the price!
Yeah, I hear you. I couldn’t believe when I checked online for how much this room would sell for! 😮 Thanks for watching!

I did think this could be a fancy comp room. I guess the minimal decor encourages you to get downstairs and play, doesn’t it?
