Thanks! I had not discovered that moving block tag! I'll be giving that a try. I have several displays driven by JMRI and it will be nice to see which train is in the block!
Thank you! Great video! Is there any way to auto populate that value instead of having to enter manually the first time? I have a staging yard that is hard to see and I would like to know which engine is on which track, before, I run the train….. Obviously the DCC “network” has that information (from the decoder that is) I wonder how you can pull it out in JMRI without telling it.
I’m sure if you start fooling around with JMRI there is a way… I’m pretty sure in dispatcher you can create all sorts of stuff like that. I haven’t even got started on that whole side of JMRI - right now I’m still working through the hardware side of things
