i personally prefer this thing to the Su-25k. it's speed and maneuverability allow it to avoid cas much more effectively than the frogfoot, at least in my experience. it's gun is still extremely potent against lighter targets, and it's rockets feel just as strong. while the Su-25 feels heavy, tanky, and brutally strong, the Mig-21s feels elegant, accurate, and lethal.

if you fly smart and position yourself correctly, you dont need flares as your speed and agility allow you to dodge missiles yourself.
