Thank you, Robot! She's gorgeous, and she turns heads at every corner. As always, your work is flawless. And, good call on stripping the Bunny off. A completely different 946 emerges once you take off the decals. Sorry I can't post a pic here 😮💨
My wife likes the bunny stickers so I guess I will leave them on for now. Since it is somewhat of a collectors edition wondering if it would hurt the value if the stickers are missing. Good to know you have the sticker kits in case I decide to remove them then change my mind.
The 946 is a very unique design and attractive in its own right. The decals are going to narrow the attraction to the bike down some. Decals aren’t a bad thing - but they will have a more limited audience depending on the decal itself. Personally I like the bike better without. Now on to the Bieber edition…!!
My decals were fresh so they came off easy, just with a fingernail start and then pulled right off. Bit of a wipe with standard rubbing alcohol and no more evidence. However, I also have one of my Vespa badges which I must have snagged on my shed doorway and has moved a little - wondering if I can remove and reglue it?
@@jcorsaro Thanks, I ended up doing the heat gun/tooth floss trick (shame on you!) and removed all the badges except for the front, I prefer my grigio stealthy anyway.
I have seen that happen on some of the older modern Vespa models, specifically with white, red, orange or black paint. The paint finish would not adhere to the plastic parts like the glove box. This is also the risk you have on removing decals and stickers from an older scooter, the paint may be dry and brittle and peel.

You are doing right. No Vespa 946 needs stickers.
the stickers look great.... but without the stickers the Vespa looks simply elegant
Is it advised to do a 13 inch wheels upgrade to the new GTS300 Supertech for better highway cruising? And how much of the warranty will that avoid
Hand sanitizer is good for removing the goop left behind
I'm getting ready to take a couple decals off mine so I can sell it. 2023 GTS 300 super sport in KC Missouri, seen on my YT channel.

Badges are inexpensive from Vespa, best to just install new ones.

Can you do a video on a Justin Bieber edition but respraying it Matt black with spray cans 👍
👍👍👍
Works sometimes but some of the stickers on my glove box pulled the paint off with them! Painted it black…..

I really like the 946 but the zodiac stickers seriously detract from its classic lines. Vespa would do well by sticking to custom colours instead. Imo
I like the rabbit, I would have left it on.
Lots of Vespa dealers have a new rabbit 946 if you want to save one by buying it. Sold the rabbit 946 24 hours later with the stickers removed.
Definitely without.
😢i need a AnTENA for Vespa 300
