I lived in the old state farm in the 60s as a 5 year old. I caught my first fish at the dam with my dad ! My dad was in the Navy. He was a recruiter there and we rented that house. I remember playing in the barn and falling through one of the holes on the upper floor, where they would hoist hay a up, I have really good memories of that house for the short time we lived in it

My Native American family lives on the reservation next to Valentine, I would always go on trips to Valentine and enjoy the scenery.
When the game RDR2 was released, they had a town named Valentine in the Heartlands and a reservation nearby, so that always resonated with me whenever I played the game

Had family that worked/ran their original homestead cattle ranch on 16B road. It was like my Disneyland; got to drive tractors, trucks, 4 wheelers as I 'helped' cowboy with my brother-in-law. Plus they built a couple of world class golf courses just as I began to travel there. Spent many days visiting & loving the Sand Hills. Afraid Valentine itself is pretty much in decline since my 1st days, 20 years ago.

Theres a long distance between Valentine and Franklin. Why would Jessie James be in Valentine trying to buy land near Franklin??

I am Aunt to the owners of the falls. When the big rock at the bottom of Smith Falls fell my neice told me you could hear the sound miles away.

We used Epidemic sound for the background music. The sound track was a part of a group of music that was labeled soundtracks. I am sorry but we no longer use this company and I can’t answer your question about the song title. I liked this music as well it reminded me of Copland’s Fanfare for the common man.🎵

Do you know why there's a few places on the bridge that stick out?

    • @duaneanddarlene6114

so repair crews or others could avoid smushing by trains

@@duaneanddarlene6114 I know that. I was trying to ask the UA-camr if they had any idea why they were there. When I was little my Dad and I used to run yearlings under that bridge. One fine weekend morning we came to check on them and a good number of our yearlong had broke through the fence and were on top of the tracks. So we rushed as fast as we could to get them off the tracks before a train came along and made hamburger out of our cattle.
