Be curious to know if the trans is still plastic gears (that's how they started out) Been running a set of the axles for a year and they're still tip top. Way cheaper than the "T" who shall not be named and fine for casual use
I needed a shorter wheel base(275mm) for a body I've had for Awhile. Found one, came assembled with Everything except esc and body mounts. Here to find out it Is clone of scx10ii raw builders kit v2 but with painted rails and anodized shocks. Hundred$cheaper.😊 Finally Something works out in my favor.
Personally, I'd throw some brass diff covers, brass wheel weights, and heavier wheels on it and move the battery up front. And maybe some hex extensions. Bias everything low to the ground and up front.
A comment in the introduction video talked about how theirs broke down in two runs. I was hoping that your test would be pretty thorough to make sure we would see any weaknesses. The fact that the video opens with the truck in the air tells me were about to find out for sure.
If it holds upmtomthat as a crawler it should be quite durable!! Lololol!!! Everyone should clone them for going after the little guys....they have been charging how much for that designed for freaking ever!!
Heard you mention that on the live stream. I've had one for nearly a year now. Have had 2 problems that happened to me a lot. Broken plastic ball ends on the steering link. I use longer wheel base and stretch the rear locking cable. It's a pretty sweet chassis for a "clone". Mine is pretty heavy.
hopefully it dies a slow painful death and they go bankrupt..can't stand thieves who lack the originality or talent to actually come up with something of their own so they ride on the backs of others like some sort of leech......🙄
Seems durable enough that you could reasonably buy this chassis for a basher/mud truck. We know fast crawler dont really make the best crawl rigs. So you could buy this cheap throw a 13.5 and some beefy tires and rip it to your heart's content because it's not your $1,000 comp rig.

Slider with motor and shift diff servos. You can get the tires like I did. Then it’s a roller. Just needs steering servo and esc.

You will like it... I drive a LOT harder and only break the body mount piece on the front, the truck takes it very well
