Let's keep it real. The only reason that the Bucks aren't possibly a dynasty is that after the championship, in the following years, they have been beset with injuries. As effed up the Bucks were they were the only team in the league the destroyed the eventual NBA champion Celtics, not once but twice! Not to deminish the great run of the Celtics, every team they faced in the Eastern playoffs had suffered injuries to key players. But as we know, injuries are part of the unforeseen variables that make sporting events unpredictable. I'm just saying Let's keep it real
@mrawesome7175 let's see if they can repeat. The weak link in the Celtics is the disrespect being shown to their MVP J Brown. Boston will be facing the apron very soon my friend.
This is true, but there was also an element of uncertainty even when they were healthy. For example, their weak perimeter defense, even if dame and Giannis were healthy, would have had a very tough time against the Celtics’ offense
@@TheRealTySmall The end of my first comment I acknowledged uncertainty. However I will ask anyone name any of the other teams that did to Boston what the Bucks did to them. Even with a very questionable weak defense they could outscore any of the other teams. The Pacers were the only other team that could score with them. The Bucks beat the Celtics so bad that ESPN shutdown their coverage of the game. A healthy Bucks team was the leagues biggest fear. A healthy Bucks team would destroy any team in the league and I would bet money without any fear. That's what I mean by keeping it real!
Idk, Giannis looks like he was favoring his right leg against Greece game vs Canada. He was in and out many times throughout that game. No confidence in coach Doc and you’re right about them moving off Jrue Holiday was a mistake. Bucks probably still finish 4/5 slot in the East barring injuries.
How do you only have 1k subs? This editing is good And honestly the bucks should get a young player for khris middleton he running on fumes rn su0er old
Thank you so much!! And yep Middleton could be on the trading block for some other pieces to fill out needs on the roster to optimize it, that’s definitely an option
@@TheRealTySmall i don’t think they’d move him since his playoff ceiling is higher than anyone you can trade him for and being 30 mil a year (which at the time looked rough) he’s a bit of steal.
The Bucks struggled when it came to stopping guards at the point of attack last season. Gary Trent is tiers above Beasley as a defender and is just as good of a shooter. The Bucks filled a need with Trent. Definitely an upgrade
Run it back with Slowpez??? U telling a joke right??? Kash another year older. Lots of small pieces added. Not sure if this team is strong/young enough to get out of the East.
Honestly not much to say. He is who he is at this point and I don’t think he was a concern at all last year given that it was statistically his best season
There was a really small window (2021-24) where Teams were really good at constructing rosters for a single superstar. That is why the Celtics won the chip (2 stars) and the other finalists were Indiana (2 stars), Timberwolves (3 stars) and the Mavs (2 Stars).
All these summer acquisitions Trent Delon Wright and Taurean Prince are all upgrades over Jae Crowder Malik Beasley and Patrick Beverley. But none of the newly acquired players addressed Milwaukee issues. They just put us back in the same box. None of those players fix the Giannis and Dame problem. U can't expect a car to perform at its best. If the engine is shot and you just added some side mirrors that was cleaner then the last mirrors. You Gotta Fix The Engine!!!
I think the Trent and Prince pickup significantly address Bucks issues. Collectively those two guys are better 3 and D players than Bev, Crowder, and Beasley. And i think getting another athletic big for one creates a redundancy since Giannis fills that role and also there’s a shortage of athletic bigs who can space the floor and you never wanna run Giannis on the floor with another non shooter. A backup PG who can play make would be nice, but I think these smaller pickups can make a huge difference
@@TheRealTySmall bruh they don't address Milwaukee main issues. They just upgrades to players who wasn't Milwaukee main issues. Milwaukee main issues never got addressed. So if he's your finisher Milwaukee needs to address the point guard and bring in a real point guard who can can play make and push the tempo the way Giannis like it like Lonzo Ball and get Giannis easier buckets. Now if Giannis is your play maker than Milwaukee needs to address a finisher for him. By getting him a guy that can run the floor and have energy like him to finish like a Brandon Ingram. The point is that the Bucks had niche needs and they filled it. Biggest need was upgrading their perimeter defense and they did just that. Marginal moves could be the moves that take a team to the next level and we’ve seen that over the course of time. IMO Trent is a steal. High defensive motor when he’s focused and also an elite 3PT shooter.
Why do these young people keep acting like you can sweep dirt under the rug and it just gonna disappear? Dame doesn't fit with Giannis. That's a problem? You people cant keep running from the actual facts. Problems have be addressed. Giannis style of play is suited for either a true playmaking point guard like lonzo Ball or a Patrick Beverley type point guard. Not for no iso scoring point guard like Dame. We have seen the struggles of iso scoring point guards too many years under Giannis with Eric Bledsoe and Jrue Holiday who both had to fall back and lean on their defense and order to fit on a Giannis squad which Dame doesn't have. And order for Dame to adjust on a Giannis team. He'll have to play a Ray Allen role on Boston. Which i highly doubt he's gonna wanna play in order for Milwaukee to be successful.
This is a take I can get down with. The Bledsoe and holiday points are phenomenal. They were able to exists next to Giannis bc of their defense while Dame doesn’t have that luxury. However, I really do still think there’s a fit between the two down the road. For one, I do think Dame is a much better playmaker than the two guys you mentioned and that amount of spacing next to Giannis just seems like match made in heaven, especially for him to operate in transition and even attack in the halfcourt. Plus I just really feel like another takeover offensive guy next to Giannis, especially given HIS offensive limitations would work. We’ve seen Giannis get limited in spurts in the playoffs, Dame is someone who can weather that storm. The Trent pickup gives them a defensive specialist who can focus on doing that and is a perfect backcourt mate for Dame since he can simply space and defend
