This rock tumbler has shown parts of the fascinating rock tumbling process for her followers to enjoy.
Stay at home mom and lapidary artist Kelsey Darnold, 31, has been tumbling for over a year in Southern Illinois, USA.
She often finds rocks to tumble in creeks or lakes and rough stone suppliers from all over the world since each state and country has its own unique set of rocks.
Kelsey said: "I may have run into challenges when I first began until I learned the importance of using Mohs hardness scale when tumbling and practicing patience, but it's been smooth since.

Some people like myself go out rock hunting in the forest, depending where you are, you can find some very pretty rocks. Where I'm located, I find mostly quartz and some agates. You can buy non-polished or tumbled rocks at stores. I would recommend buying rocks from a trusted store that sells real rocks. You can make sure they are real by checking their texture, how they stand up to heat, etc.
