    Yea🙌 I wondered how many you ended up with. Since there is only my husband & I, I'll cut the ingredients down to a third and make approximately 8 pints. ❤

    I’ve seen canners, can tom paste. Just put it in jar and process. I think pressure canning not water bath. I forget if it was pressured or water bath.

      It can be water bathed. 🙂 We just prefer the space-saving nature of the powder in our small kitchen/pantry.

    Can you recan #10 cans of pork and beans?

      I wouldn't because they get entirely too mushy. They don't hold their shape when pressure canned that second time.

    Why did bbq sauce only take 20 min and pizza sauce in 8 oz boil for 35 min ?

      The bbq sauce is far more acidic due to the addition of vinegar so it takes less time. 🙂

      I only recorded the quadruple recipe in my notebook, and I'm not sure where I got & tweaked the original recipe. Sorry!

    A friend had made BBQ sauce for canning but need it to be thicker, what can she use?

      Since we need to be careful with how thick our canning recipes are, I just thicken before using by heating with a little arrowroot powder and allowing to simmer for a few minutes. :)
