By far one of the best japanese sensei on youtube
One of the reasons why I love your explanations are the first parts of your videos. Damn Miku should be in jdramas
Loving the format of these videos, Miku! The intros are fun, the explanations are clear and understandable and we get to put what you taught us into practice immediately. I've already incorporated a lot of what you've taught into my speech!
Thank you Tim!! I will keep on working hard:):)
こんにちはみくせんせい!Maybe you can also make tutorials in using だから and から in a sentence, おねがいします😘😘😘
Thank you for these short videos. They help out a ton!
I really love the production value and editing you put into your videos!
another wonderful lesson, thank you
Your videos help me a lot in speaking Japanese.. Thank you so much 😊
Your videos and Instagram posts are so helpful!
I've not long begun teaching myself Japanese, so I'm still trying to find a system that works for me.
You speak and explain so clearly and simply. I really appreciate it :)
Thank you!
Louise! Welcome to my channel! I am so glad you came to my channel and started to learn Japanese! I will keep on working hard, Louise! You can do it!!
@@mikurealjapanese Thank you for your support!
Your videos are so helpful and your explanations are so good! I'm very glad that I have found your channel. Thank you!
Another great video sensei... thank you!
This is a new Lesson for me and I really appreciate it.. But could you give us the vocabulary as to do the sentences in the exercise part ? Thanks Miku Sensei !
This is the most fun studying Japanese. I hope you make this kind of video again❤
That's really helpful i am really thankful to you for clearing each and everything one by one ......😊😊😊😇
Love all your videos sensei ♥️
Really appreciate your hardwork to share your language to us. I really want to be fluent in Japanese
This is probably the best of your vids I've seen so far! I love the fact that you included some alternative ways to say "I have to" (ranking them from most casual to most polite). I'm hoping I get to see more of this in future vids!
A BIG THANK YOU!!! Miku ni kansha shinakya ikemasen ^_^
Oh yeah, I got 7 out of 10...I think.
Thank you for this great video! It was very helpful and well structured :)
I love your videos as usually! Keep up the good work, your channel is one of the most helpful out there! I learned so much from you, It's impossible to thank enough, even just simple Arigatou wouldn't be enough, you taught me so much and so many other people, so here's one big THANK YOU!
I would also like to suggest if you could include kanji for example :)
I always wanted to learn how to say this, thank you so much Miku sensei!!! 🤓
I love all of your videos. Since in each one of them I've learned so many useful daily life phrases, I think my Japanese is improving so much 😍 .
いつもありがとうございます!
Excellent! I love it! ありがとうございます!
ど- いたしまして
Really helpful, thanks a lot. (if you can do more of N3 and upper levels that would be awesome !)

Hi Samuel! Thank you for watching it!
Thank you so much💙💙
Me gustó mucho esta clase みく先生ありがとうございます muchas gracias por regalarnos esta clase,.
Hello Miku, I must say your video are such a great complementary help (I'm taking online lessons) but with your lessons, I feel like I will be able to hold normal conversations with my japanese friends (in a casual way) that's what I needed the most ! So , thanks a lot ❤️
(Also, little request: is it possible to lower down the "DONG" sound after you say the number in the testing part, it's much more louder than the rest, so it always makes me jump out of my chair hahaha この音いつもをびっくりするんだ 😂)
Thank you for your work !
Love all your videos. Glad I found them :-)
I could do 7 out of the 10. Thank you so much for your videos!
I love these videos because the example sentences are so spot on. Also a good explanation of how the text book doesn't work in real world situations. No wonder Japanese people look at me funny. Have to work on adapting this lesson into my daily speaking.
Hey George! I really want you to connect with Japanese people in Japanese! That's my mission! So I'd like to keep on working hard and provide more content to help you! Your comment always makes me happy!:)
Love this!!
Very useful grammar! Thank you this time I was able to do just 3 sentences! But I learned a lot!! よし‼︎ looking forward for the next lesson!
Hey, Sara! You can do it! With each lesson your japanese will be better and better! Thank you for trying! Let's improve it together!
ありがとうございました!
Nihongo o motto benkyo shinakya ikenai. Thank u very much Miku Sensei...
すごい!! ありがとうございました先生!! 楽しかったでした!
楽しかったです! よかった😊 ありがとう!
@@mikurealjapanese 間違えてすみません!! 今から気を付けます!!ありがとうございます!!
Great. A new Miku video!
Thank you Tim❤︎ I appreciate it! Let's work hard together!
Thanks for the video Miku! This isn't related to the lesson but I'm also confused where to place adjectives such as in your example. "I have to leave home early in the morning" My initial reaction is to say あさうちにはやくでなきゃいけない
Thank you for this awesome video.
May i ask one question. How to say "i can't help +Ving " pattern in Japanese.
For example. I can't help watching your videos.
😍😍
This is a great channel, Miku! I've already learned a lot of helpful things.
But someone told me ~なきゃいけない is a kind of feminine way of talking...is this true? And if so, what is a more masculine way of expressing "I have to ~"?
I have a request XD Can you please do a video for 要る vs 必要がある? I love your videos by the way, so easy and fun!
helpful video, thank you. Is it possible to use this construction in a question form? e.g. "Do you have to leave early in the morning?" or is this solely for use from a speaker's perspective?
I got a 6,5. まだまだですが頑張ります!笑
Love from Brazil 🇧🇷💙
ミクさんに感謝しなきゃいけない。ありがとう!
My book is teaching me nakereba narimasen :( TY for the lesson.
Maturnuwun, mbak
Sensei 💙 Arigatou Gozaimasu .
Thank YOU!!!!!!!!! I appreciate you for learning my language!
I Love you helped me so much
Lamia! I'm glad I can helo you!
I love your video! It is really helpful. Also it is great to present us all the informal, formal way of speaking. But my Japanese friend from my school told me that it is better I am learning the polite form with my teacher because it is not very welcoming to speak in informal way, even with people from my age, and even if we hang out a bit. So even if it is more fluent and the way Japanese speak, I might don’t need it for a bit of time because I’ll have to be polite 😅 that’s what my Japanese friend and my Japanese teacher told me :)
What do you think about it?
😊
does つくえをきれいにしなきゃいけない。make sense? thank you for your lessons !
Number 10 is my favourite
i got an impressive 0/10 reeeee
Nice video! However, I wish you'd briefly explain the origin of this expression, which is a bit strange for a foreigner (it's a kind of "if I don't do...", somehow translated in "I have to", hard to guess ^^'). Nice work anyway!
Yes my lessons are totally teaching me that extra formal bullshit!!! I’m having so much trouble remembering なければ(forgot the rest) so of course I look to your videos for help and then you tell me I don’t even have to say that!
Thank goodness I didn’t waste anymore time trying to remember!!!
zengseng I would be careful if you plan to work in Japan though. The longer form with ikemasen/narimasen is used in that context with your superiors.
Susie I don’t plan on it, just learning Japanese to talk to my Japanese friends and coworkers in the US, but in case life leads me to work in Japan one day that’s good to know! Thank you
Thank you so much for this! I've been having the hardest time trying to understand this grammar. Also, it would be helpful if you included the kanji in the Japanese translations.
You can find the sentence with Kanjis in the despription!
@@mikurealjapanese Awesome! Didn't notice that :)
ミクさんのチャンネルがほんまに大好き。私はインド人です。ミクさんの日本語の動画を毎日見て、練習しています。ほんまにありがとうございます。:)
そして、一つ質問があります:「なければならない」と「なくちゃ」は普通会話で良く使っていますか?
よろしく!!!!!
あなたのビデオはとてもクールです。私はあなたと日本語と英語の両方を学んでいます。どうもありがとうございます。
Wonderful lesson. Now I have a better understanding of the following sentence: 田中くんも、エスターさんを見習わなきゃ。==> I have to learn from Tanaka and Esther. (Probable translation).
Miku sensei. What about in anime, which form of "have to" is used?
すごい
ありがとう!!!!
さすがミク先生!あいかわらずまた便利な動画を出した。質問が一つある
勉強しなくちゃ or しなきゃ 試験に受からない。
if used in this kind of context the meaning of the なきゃいけない changes, right?
can you make a lesson explaining this use of the なきゃいけない , how is the correct way to translate it and when should be used please?
Hi!!! ありがとう!質問はなんですか?
Miku Real Japanese my question is how can you translate it in the context that i write above? and is there a rule to make that kind of grammar pattern?
Sensei, what about Adjective + nakya? Can put Adjective before nakya?
For example:
Kirei de nakya.
Kibishi ku nakya.
Is it correct??
Help me please..🙏🙏
Arigatou!
こちらこそ、ありがとう!!
Thanks Miku sensei. Really helpful as I’ve always wondering how to use “have to”, “need to”, text book taught us nakereba narimasen but never in real life Japanese use it. Just a quick question, there’s a party going on and I’d like to ask someone politely if I need to bring anything. パーティのために何か持ってこなきゃいけないですか?is it ok?
Perfect! It's かんぺき!Another way is to say"パーティーに何かもってきたほうがいいですか?Should I (Is it better to)bring something to the party?
Wow ❤👍
みくのチャネルに感謝しなきゃいけない。ありがとう。
The jeans jacket perfects combines with the hairstyle today.
You're really sweet! Good at complimenting! haha Thank you so much! You always leave comment on my content! I appreciate it!!!
By the way, have you started learning Chinese, which is your new year’s resolution? Maybe I could offer you some help as long as you need it.

みく先生の新しいビデオを見なきゃいけない。
The only thing that is stopping me from getting these questions right is because that I don't any vocabulary(I'm still trying)
こんにちはミク先生!これの動画良かったですよ!質問があります。「ないといけません」と「なければいけません」は敬語ですけれども、僕は「なきゃいけないです」と言いたら、敬語でですか?それとも、これが変な感じがありますか?例えば、もっと「もっと日本語を練習しなきゃいけないです」とか「もっと日本語を練習しなきゃです」と話したら、良くないですか?
What about なくてはいけない? What's the difference between 行かなければいけない and 行かなくてはいけない?
In the exmple of taking medicine why is nomu used and not toru?
What is the difference of ikanai and ikenai?
How do you negate the sentence with this grammar if the verb is already in its negative form? How do you express, that you don’t have to do something? „I don’t have to go to school.“ for example?🤔
Same question here.
気をつけなきゃいけない....is that correct for I have to be careful?
ありがとうございます先生 😃could you make lesson about for
I thinkt it's either: "shigoto e naito ikimasu" or "naito shukkinshimasu"
is it similar to なくちゃいけません ?
Hai. How to translate "I have decided to eat tempura" in japanese
Sept 24 2022 4:47am
In your examples in the beginning of the video, you used なきゃ without いけない. When do I have to add いけない and when can I leave it as just なきゃ?
It's a progression from informality to formality, the ます forms being the more polite:
なきゃ → なきゃいけない → なきゃいけません
ないといけない → ないといけません
なければいけない → なければいけません
なければならない → なければなりません
These are the forms I know (wouldn't be surprised it it were more).
This is an old comment but a good question, so I'll add something that I've learnt, just in case it's useful for anyone that sees this.
In a casual situation you can just end with なきゃ、but if you want to add more parts to the sentence after that you need to use いけない almost as a connector. Extra pieces of information can't add straight onto なきゃ. I've been told that this sounds weird because なきゃ has the feeling of being the end of the sentence.
So for example, "I have to go to work tomorrow": 明日(あした)、仕事(しごと)に行(い)かなきゃ。
"Because I have to go to work tomorrow, I'm going to sleep": 明日、仕事に行かなきゃいけないから、寝(ね)る。
Because I continued the sentence after なきゃ I added いけない and then から。
❤❤
Thank youuuu❤︎
How do i say i have to sleep now
ミク先生大好きですよ❤️
Sensei, I was told by a Japanese 40 ysold woman that this way of speaking 〜なきゃいけない is only for ladies and not man. She also added I’d look female by saying this way. Is this correct?
Rafael Souza I saw elsewhere that’s it only nakyacha that’s feminine, not nakya
if *ikemasen means have to* *ikemasu must mean i dont have to?* why is it flipped 😭😭
Loved the dramatization! Sugoi!
