Man, I have such fond memories of this game. One of my life mantras is literally an adaptation of Dauragon’s words: “The pleasure of [creating art] for the sake of [creating art]!”
That's such a bad quote. It's like the most Japanese thing I've ever heard in my life. It's like saying "to drive a car to get from one place to another.".
@@nevvawinter7331 I've been a musician for over 20 years. And as if the music industry imploding wasn't bad enough for paydays I also happen to play underground death metal so to say my audience is niche doesn't even begin to approach the situation. I'm telling you this because only 2% of musicians ever make enough money to live on playing music and the number is even worse for overall art in general. I've never met a single musician or artist in my 20+ years that played music or made art for any other reason than it brought them pleasure because it certainly isn't for money or fame. They do it because it's their passion. What I know isn't that there are other reasons people make art it's that the quote you love states the obvious, overstates it with it's prose, and is generally a bad quote. Get better taste or at least don't fall in love with quotes that don't translate well to your native language.
@@nevvawinter7331 That doesn't mean artists create art for any other reason than because it brings them pleasure. It means you were a poser and now you consider yourself to be an actual artist. It means that if you create art for any other reason than passion and your enjoyment of the craft you are by definition not really an artist. It means you had nothing to say except what you thought others wanted you to say which is not what an artist does. A real artist is someone that would always have chosen their craft based off their exposure. If you are an artist then you always would have been one assuming you were exposed to the medium and artist that first inspired you. If you can say you never would have picked up an instrument unless you had a phase where you did it for the whims of others then you were probably never meant to be an artist. No real artist compromises their voice or vision for others and anyone that does either never was an artist or isn't one any longer.
Faa-san / Lucilius: "Ah, yes. The Bouncer. Mishearing ones, Know that when you set to Japanese Voice, you will hear me, who voiced Sion, the one you played as. And... Kou, was it? He is still lively as ever, being Frieza (Dragon Ball Z), and now one of the Eternals named Uno (Granblue Fantasy) journeying with the Singularity. About Volt....There is no reason to speak about it ever since the soul of Robin Mask had already left the world."
Pretty sure the main antagonist is what Sora from KH was inspired off of design wise. Now every time I look at him I just see a Kingdom Hearts character.
This fucking game needs a remake.... I'll die alone and crazy on this hill
First game I played on PS2. It was a rental and I never played it again.
I'd buy a remake.
No you wont im right along side you.
Sequel not remake
The amount of times I played through this game is nuts. Loved all the secret ending and characters you could unlock. Mugetsu was my guy.

@@nevvawinter7331 Is there some other reason you think most people make art for?

Hahahahha, THE BOUNCER!! For a good laugh, ProJared's video on ....THE BOUNCER!! is comedy gold!
The "State Of Emergency of Square Enix" line was so on point.
So technically....twilight town became a city in the future and Sora changed his name to Xion.
this came first though by 2 years

The Bouncer is a great underrated game!
