There at the edge of the wall we can see a bit of the thing that they freaked out of and backed away. The Apparent alien had moved from the window of the truck where they were heading towards to and as the father got closer the thing moved to the left and apparently was squatting but then stood up, and that is when they freaked out and backed off back into the gate. We can't see the full image cause the lady so ineptly didn't move forward enough to capture the creature itself. It also seems that the thing scurried to the tractor where the others were as the family talked about their freaking out and then they point back to record the tractors.

It seems what when the people go to focus on the Tractor, the tall one is outside to the left, getting there when the family retreated in fear. One Eye of the alien is clearly visible its black big and oval. It becomes bigger as light falls on it and it gets startled. After that it changes and transforms into a dark mist standing right next to these guys. This clearly reminds me of the movie Dream Catcher based on the novel of the same name by Stephen King where they are shown as these huge 10 feet creatures who pretend to ask for help and when the military opens fire on them from helicopters they turn to a half mist like body and start slithering and running away into the woods. They can manipulate their physical form, cloak themselves and also turn to dark mist like forms watch from 0:25 on wards frame by frame. That is what startles the family and they get scared and run back inside which gives the aliens enough time to go to the forklifts. One of note was their bedroom doors are facing an outside court and when they Walk out the door in the morning...after it was all over there was scratches on the concrete, some look like scratches into the concrete and then a circle and then two other circles and then he pointed two boulders.
