It looks like a Las Vegas restaurant menu from 25 years ago. After checking the exchange rate that breakfast cost $2.85 US. What a deal.

I'm glad I watched this video while in Pattaya...this restaurant is great, has some fantastic prices and the food is to die for...tried out the breakfast once, and returned every day for up to 3x a day, breaky, lunch and dinner...can get a bit hot inside since there's no aircon but can't really complain for what we pay...staff are great too...thumbs up!

Thailand is currently one of the strongest currencies in the World ..that’s a great value good quality breakfast for little money.. their beer prices also take some beating .. I hope they thrive and do well..

Well when I saw the menu, thin sausage, I was expecting those small hot dog type, what a surprise to see quite fat chipolata type sausage. What amazes me is the large menu, how do they store it all and keep it fresh? Bloody good prices and what with the Indian next door but one, I'd be permanently there, unless it will be so full all the time now you have posted it. Just hope it is still open for my next visit.

I heard that between 10:00 am and Noon if you swat a fly on the menu , you get the menu item where it was "dispatched" for free. ;)

Seemed a good restaurant eating place to me, I shall be back and trying other culinary items that's for sure, I like the Chinese sweet and sour pork balls or chicken balls, I'll definitely be giving those a go! 👍👍🙏

That looks better than the 125 baht breakfast we get in Bangkok . I like the big coffee in Bangkok you need 3 cups to your 1 mug . And the sausages wow you get these piddly little hotdog little boys in Bangkok they are woeful . Great prices have to give Cheap Charlies a try on the next visit

I eat 6 rashers of bacon 6 sausages half a tin of beans on 3 toast every day. Cost£1.70 uk
I'll have to check it out when I'm there in may, I rovers was always my preferred choice but this looks like a new contender, those beer prices are the cheapest I've ever seen :)

Best value breakfasts in Pattaya is either Irish Rover's or Retox.
No need to ask if it was helpful all your vids are entertaining and helpful .I have been to Pattaya nine times and have picked up from you some great places to eat definately look at cheap charlies that brekkie looked brilliant .I have always gone to Rosie ogradys in soi 7 massive breakfast or sailor bar in soi 8 but they are not that cheap although really good .Great vid Kev as always hope to finaly meet you at subscribers night when i next get out there .

@Thai Tastic , Was definitely "Coins" after they left 18 coins and also remember it as Queens Arms. I think it was "Eat Well" 24Hr before the Coins took over.

Reminds me of the "Baht Buster" breakfast at Retox on Soi Lengkee for 99 Baht. I thought that breakfast was cheap and very good. This one looks just as good and 10 Baht cheaper too! That 49 Baht beer is almost as cheap as drinking at 7-11! I hope this place is successful because I want to try it out on my next Thailand vacation!

I know retox barely break even on their 99bt breakfast, but hope to make money on the drinks, plus sporting events. this place not only has a brekkie at 10bt cheaper, but also really cheap drinks. dont know how it will sustain itself or cover the overheads..
I'm not sure what their main objective is here, Maybe to knock Retox and the others out of business and then put prices double! 😜😜🙏
Not unless the owner has a few other places and gets the benefit of bulk buying prices. Who knows with Thai logic. I'm sure Kev will enjoy it while it lasts 😋.

Looks like a great place, I shall be visiting it in April. And your dead right about living here, if you really know your way around you can eat and drink at the same prices as the locals, I often pay 40 baht for a beer and 30 - 40 baht for a Thai meal.

Chicken red curry with rice, fried egg and bowl of soup 50 Baht in Hua Hin. Much better.
Sounds like a good place, good menu selections,only problem is the currency exchange it’s terrible,I wonder if after the elections the currency exchange rates will change,I hope so,better deal for your money in Vietnam, 👍👍👍👍🇺🇸🇹🇭✈️

Totally agree about the money side for a holiday, not sure about Vietnams infrastructure though. I say this because it seemed a bit limited to be able to live there, but I loved the place and value for money Thailand cannot even come in the same ball-park.
@@KevInThailandpat1 Thailand is running a balance of payment surplus, it has more money coming in then going out, and its has built up a huge currency reserve too unlike western nations that are in Debt up to their eyeballs and for the past ten years have been printing money and running trade deficits ie have more money going out then coming in so long as that is happening the thai baht will get stronger

The size of the small breakfast WOW I wouldn't like to eat the large ones I'll be like a stuffed pig but definitely will have to try it in August and sample a few beers at that price you know it makes sense.

Thailand is a developing country, which means £2.18 for breakfast isn't exactly cheap if you know what I mean.
As a Scot I'd be dying to find out how good the Lorne sausage is. Needs to be square, round Lorne isn't real Lorne sausage! And the tottie scones. Tell them to swap the black pudding for haggis & they've nailed it. Breakfast at CC's & ribs at the Hideaway, looks like your sorted Kev. You'll be needing to let out your shorts. 😋

Great blog I think Cheap Charlie’s will do well if the numbers come through the door .
Just show how much places like Retox Game On take the piss charging 195 Baht for fried rice / 280 Baht for pie/ chips etc
Just an update just visited CC the Restaurant was absolutely rammed ,the breakfast I had was spot on.
Might be cheap but they still have smokers sit out the front contrary to health regulations of Feb 3 2019, plus those pesky hawkers
Hope that place stays open for the year as I booked into Volare guesthouse for 27 nights it looks good 👍

Exchange rates in Bangkok Kev with Vasu by Nana sky train also pay a little bit more for higher banknotes (£50) every little helps. Thanks, nice vlog.

I used to eat there every morning back in 2014 when the place was a indian place can't remember the name but the food was 1st class,a English mob from across the street took over halfway thru the year
