Congrats to you and your brother! I see a bunch of wins in your future. I know you are no stranger to winning but i see some big wins coming your way. You are wise beyond your years in fishing.
Very cool video. Congrats and thanks for sharing. Not everybody makes a thorough walkthru during their tournament in the most humble way. Hope I can pick your mind through a podcast interview sometime
I found that when the bass start getting wise to conventional topwater when their schooling a chasing shad is to throw a bait like the 3/4oz Jackall Riser RS.
The problem with the more finesse-y baits was that the water had a pretty significant stain to it. Made it a very strange bite. I'm used to schoolers in stained water being VERY cooperative.
Schooling fish are so much fun but can be the most frustrating thing as well. I won a tourney on schoolers once but have been on them and can’t get a bite.
I always bend out my EWG hooks. I've never been able to hook fish unless I did. I can get away with a smaller hook too. I know it makes it less weedless but...
Haven't heard from you in a while! I definitely need to experiment more with this style hook to figure out what rod is best for it and how I should set the hook to improve my hookup ratio. Because odds are I'll have to fish for some grass bass again one day
You can fish out of any brand of kayak, but I think it should be noted that this is the championship that only 50 qualify for, I don't think it's a coincidence that everyone is in a pro angler
Congrats on a great season! You are doing a great job with your videos. I really like how you narrate over the top. Super helpful to newbies like me.
awesome coverage man that spot was loaded!!! I cant wait to start fishing a few more of these events!
Great video brother!!! Congratulations!!
Really enjoy the gear break down to end this series Nolan. Hope you have a productive off season bud.
Congrats my man! I always enjoy watching your videos.
Thanks for sharing Mark Franks nice video . Waiting on spring already
Congrats again, man. You killed it! You dang figured em out.
Figured out that when you see 50 bass blowing up on shad in practice, you should go back to that spot for the tournament
Your videos are very informative thank you and congrats to you and your brother
Thanks! There is a lot of fishing content on youtube so I try to set myself apart by offering more information/explanation than most.

Congratulations to you and your brother. Love your videos 🎣
Congrats man! Great video and content! I'm glad you finished strong!
Awesome series. Congrats, man!
Try the owner haymaker EWG hook, or a 5/0 light wire straight shank hook, the haymaker is newer and the point sticks out above the hook eye

Congrats brother I hope though you we’re fro VA I seen the Jake’s Hat
You have some serious net skills. Here in fl I use the ewg pretty often but I always use an owner twist lock on them
Small spoon works good on school fish too. Use them a lot
New to the channel bro love the content and live the notes keep bangin fam

I find that you need to set the hook with an up swing. I hate it when they bite like that.
If you have to use EWG hooks try Trokar, seem to be the better of them all.

@@nolanminor6761 I don't think it's rod or the hook set. I think you just need to bend them out 15 degrees or so. That said I avoid them if I can.
Owner makes a hook called the Haymaker, came out at Icast this year, it’s an EWG hook that points out, literally increases hook ups like crazy
what was his topwater lure
Nice video and congrats! Is a Hobie kayak required for the tournaments? All I saw in the video are Pro Anglers.

An alabama rig may have got them
Way to keep level headed after losing fish and seeing someone next to you crush them. That’s going to separate you from a lot of anglers.
