Solo level has fantastic artwork, lots of cool scenes with perfect camerawork(?) that always give you goosebump. For me, it’s more like reading movies rather than scrolling through normal manhwa.

Reformation of a deadbeat noble was so different than my usual reads. It was more of a journey of finding himself than becoming stronger. He had to work so hard and his, as well as his friend's mental struggles, were depicted beautifully. You could feel the frustration they felt when they did not feel good enough. I do recommend reading the novel too since the novel gives a lot more details

I read all of this manhwa but solo leveling is on a different level and one of the best but i am surprise this dude knows leveling with the Gods as it is a hidden gem, story is perfect at first but becomes worse but still good after defeating the ranker whose after the blacksmith

I've read all of them, they are all amazing honestly. But solo leveling is still on a class of its own, I dare to say I'm enjoying some of these mangas as much as I enjoyed solo leveling. The likes of, legend of the northern blade, reincarnation of the suicidal battle god e.t.c and many others not mentioned like nano machine, return of the Disaster-Class Hero... Just happy I get to read these amazing mangas, no need to gatekeep
I’d say the beginning after the end is closest to solo levelings class also I believe most of the honerable mentions are twice as good as the ones he featured

dont get me wrong, solo leveling is and will be my all time fav.. its just that the ending is so abrupt and confusing and I feel like they kinda just put together something without a thought
legend of the northern blade is by far number one and the story just started , great storytelling , great character development and quite philosophical, not to mention the character is not op from the start he ACTUALLY trained very hard

Absolutely in love with The Return of Mount Hua sect. I'm currently reading the novel right now, and everything is just incredible, especially the storyline. It has the right amount of humor, angst, and action. Can't wait to see how it ends!
I've read Solo Leveling, Second Life Ranker, The beginning after the End and am currently reading Omniscient Readers Viewpoint. (also some nsfw manhwa like Dark Star Emperor but its up to you if you're into that stuff lol). I feel like this is the starter kit for anyone wanting to start reading manwha. Ofcourse you also have Tower of God and God of Highschool but they got anime adaptationsa already so i dont want to ruin that experience if they potentially return.

Then I read Max Level Newbie and just finished binging The Beginning After the End (I’m debating if it is now my top favorite which I didn’t think was possible after SL) I keep seeing Omniscient Readers Viewpoint being recommended and wonder what your thoughts are on it?

Tbh, beginning after the end has a great storyline. In terms of art solo levelling might be better but not the story. Also, reformation of a deadbeat noble has potentials. All these new manhwas that are comming up has the same kind of plot which annoys me to a point. But I've read them all 😂😂
As much as I like everything u mentioned.. especially ORV, Legend Northern Blade, etc. But I still have to say the most memorable manhwa I have ever read is Solo Leveling.. Still remember that time I cant wait for the new chapter uploads every week.. nothing is as hype as back then anymore..

solo leveling ended too quickly for me tbh... it suddenly had an overload of things happening and then was finished before I realized it was the end lmao. I was just mindlessly scrolling waiting for the next arc where the pace would slow and I could comprehend what was happening again, nek minute i was reading comments of people sooking it was over hahaha
Another new one that I really like is Damned Reincarnation. It has less than 30 chapters so far but I am obsessed! It’s about a hero who dies while trying to kill the Demon Lords and gets reincarnated as the descendant of one of his companions.
I have to agree with Mercenary’s Enrollment/Teenage Mercenary. I have been reading since the beginning and it’s just mind blowing what he’s gone through before the story even starts. And the originization behind everything is just….. uh. It got like 80 or 90 plus chapters and this is one where you root for him the whole time. So Good!!

While I have read most of them and find them very interesting, I found that „Your Talent is Mine“ is the only one that evokes similar feelings as solo levelling for me And while the feeling of the following does not resemble the same as solo levelling it’s a class of his own „nano machine“ highly recommend! The great mage returns after 4000 Years as well as leveling with the gods are exquisite too!
you would really enjoy first demon of mount hua, its a step above return of mount hua. But the #1 spot must go to fff-class trash hero as it is perfect(so far up to chapter 97)
I really like return of the mount hua sect, and fist demon of mount hua didn't give good impressions to me, so I didn't read. I will check it out again. As for fff class trash hero, I definitely don't think it's perfect. I much prefer return of the mount hua sect. I think I've read up to around chapter 80 for the fff class trash hero, but stopped reading since it wasn't that fun for me.
Guys second life ranker is so goodddddd. I even started reading the novel and it is epic af, the mc doesn't get too op so early like solo levelling. I am in like 300 chapters in novel and it is so ahead of manhwa and there are still players who are monsters and levels ahead of mc. So Hype..... Totally Recommend it.
Out of all the ones I’ve read, the beginning after the end has actually gotten me emotionally invested in the characters. Even though you know Arthur is insanely op he still kinda has a limit throughout the manwha. You also don’t know what will happen next! Who might die or get injured and where Arthur will go. I liked solo lvling, the characters are dope. But it’s nothing that crazy 😅 honestly kinda easy to tell what’s gonna happen next every time, also felt a little rushed towards middle to the end. Didn’t really get to explore other characters.
the kinda rushed ending and the mediocre at best character exploration are certainly Solo Levelings biggest flaws. the story seemed really really good, but should've taken a bit more time to explore especially towards the end. the last few chapters with war between monarchs and angel guys was a lot of lore dump and kinda confusing at times. but with the anime coming out I'm really hoping they take a bit more time to explore the honestly quite incredible potential that is there.
Yeah i also read both TBATE and solo leveling and i liked both but the emotional appeal,character relationships that TBATE provide are better than SL.I am not saying that it beats SL in all aspects and both Arthur and jinwoo both feels similar in some aspects but for ME TBATE is above then SL due to its emotional attachment
I totally agree, what i found in solo levelling that is a flaw is the plot, it's simple, and sometimes just stagnates, and other times it just care about the mc, what about the FMC , the blonde, she needed more screen time, and so others too... but overall, its a good and marketable manhwa for the masses
i think that not the story or the art of Solo Leveling are unique (i said unique not exceptional), what's almost unique is Mc and how it's developed, 99% of stuff out there when there's a fight, they will speak for 2 chapters and fight for 4 panels, mah boi Sung Jinwoo doesn't bore us with all that talk and goes at it straight away which is exceptional, at least in my opinion

Loved it so much before it ended I had to read the Light Novel to get my fix like a drug addict because I couldn't wait for the chapters to be released. Your confusing great artwork with great story. Like the person who grades a movie by going to the movie theater. Feeling good about the movie atmosphere has to be separated from the actual movie. Can't add to the grade of the movie because you saw it on a fun date, you loved the popcorn, and because the crowds energy added to the experience. On your recommendation and looking for that Solo leveling feel I have read past chapter 40-50 of half the titles you suggest only to wake up and feel disappointed, then frustrated cause i wasted my time. I got tired on the same old plot of the OP character out for revenge......starting to feel like some authors are copying and pasting the same theme over and over again. Don't get me wrong some have amazing artwork which i agree and have average stories. But Solo leveling is in a category of its own.. It lacked very little, if anything when the anime comes out if they want to prolong the story, they can add fights or side stories about stuff like what his Dad was doing while lost in the dungeon, or show a few fights that they didn't speak of in the Manhwa like when the Beast General fought the guy in brazil or the fight against Kamish that defined the National Class heroes etc.... Stuff like that won't take away from the story. But Solo leveling had amazing story pacing, Jinwoo was a focused hero without the brazen arrogance. He had a not back down attitude but he never shows pleasure in being on top, in fact he doesn't want the attention at first. Unlike some of these OP glory hogs. I feel like the title is click bait and you got us and you secretly feel Solo Leveling is the best!
I was started with the SL lite Novels. My daughter 26, knew I love to read and I am open minded. I am 48, widowed and a gamer. And this is why SL got me hooked like a dope fiend from the GATE! I have finished LN #7 and I can’t wait for #8 to release next month. It bothers me that people that are more experienced in this don’t do their proper research. This Content Creator says these 10 anime’s or mangas or web toons are better than SL, but he hasn’t read the LN which you and I know has WAY MORE TO SHOW than the web toon or manhwas 🤷🏽♀️ There are false truths to the manhwa like certain people being somewhere they never appeared at in the LN. I take the NOVELS as cannon because it tells all. The other two can’t do that because they would be well over 200 chapters. I get it, I do. But in throwing stuff where stuff doesn’t belong, you get readers that think the manhwas are cannon. Another thing I noticed is very few readers understand the system, but they play video games.. to me it was self explanatory 🤷🏽♀️I agree with you, this man needs the pitchfork, because if he had read the LN then he wouldn’t make this fictitious claim, his opinion or not.
One more honorable mention could be manhwa - The Max Level Hero Has Returned! . The art isn´t anything special, but the story is pretty good and litlle bit different than the others mentioned in this video so give it a try. Personally i really enjoyed it.
I love this one. The characters (MC included) are actually pretty interesting, especially Perserk and the world building is definitely above average too. I wish the pacing was a little faster though T_T

Reformation of the Deadbeat was a really great read with it's great good artstyle that despite it not being overly flashy but makes fight scene look more fluid.

My only real complaint of Solo Leveling is how every other character becomes so irrelevant so quickly. S Class was hyped up to the degree of Bleach captains, only to become completely insignificant before any can even show what they can do. Same for Nation-Level hunters. I’m all down for an op mc, but when literally nothing can be accomplished without him, it starts to be a drag. I still love re-reading many of the badass chapters, though lol (C-Grade dungeon turning into a red-seal dungeon…that whole arc was so kickass…)

Nah man, I’ve read the #1 on this list and it doesn’t even come close to solo leveling. It was good, definitely had me reading it a lot, I’m on like chapter 30 in a few days. However, I wasn’t entranced into spending every waking hour reading it and damn near finishing it in two days like with solo leveling. Solo leveling has 170+ chapters and I had to stop at chapter 157 on day two so that I do t finish it. I then proceeded to re-read it from the start just so I could get to read it more. It’s number one of all time and it’s not budging anytime soon.
Solo levelling will never be dethroned because too many people started with solo levelling and will always have a biased opinion, most people reading manwha probably started after hearing about solo levelling and trying it out

I preferably and STRONGLY recommend Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint. It has similar artstyles to Solo Leveling, And it doesn't really focus only in the MC, it also focuses on the MC's friends, enemies, and even some side characters. ORV pretty much explains everything. But it explains it in a more catchy way, Kind of like that? ( Idk how to explain it sorry ) Though both Manwhas are good, I still prefer ORV than SL, And I also recommend to read ORV Novel, ORV Manwha was really good but ORV was in a different kind of good. Like really good. Though it's only on my perspective :)

And ending that the writer want or what will happen in reality "1st ending" and an ending that the reader wants or hope for "2nd ending" And i really like the first one even though the 2nd is good too but I usually act as if I didn't read it 😂😂.

Even in its own genre. It's basicly the manhwa version of dragon ball. It's the first decent story most people bump I and they make the fact that they read/watch it their entire life.
Personally having read the Light novel I feel that the only true possibilities on this video are Leveling With the Gods and unlikely but Solo Max-Level Newbie. I feel that in many people’s opinion Solo Max-Level Newbie isn’t even close but I simply like some concepts introduced. Leveling With the Gods seems like an equal to or better version of Ranker’s Second Life but with more potential. Though I haven’t read the light novels so I can’t be sure.
Your list is pretty good. There's a lot here I haven't heard of. Leveling with the Gods is one of my favorites. I've been reading that one for a bit now. If you like the "go back in time and do it better" meme, some other good ones are Kill the Hero and SSS-Class Suicide Hunter. Max Level Returner is one of those Dungeons break out in earth stories like Solo Leveling, and Seoul Station Druid and Seoul Station Necromancer are a well. Similar vibe, but totally unrelated stories, despite the names. Max Level Hero Has Returned is an amazing story, with an Isekai twist that you forget about most of the time, but it occasionally pops up. Level Up Only by Eating, Taming Master, Mystic Musketeer/Arcane Sniper, and Overgeared are all great stories set in VRMMO games. The story occasionally follows the characters outside of the game in the real world, but their achievements in the game is the focus of the story. Limit Breaker and The Tutorial Tower's Advanced Player both feature characters dealing with dungeon breaks on earth, but they were trapped in the Tutorial missions that allowed them to become Players because of bugs, causing them to come out much stronger than others. Seoul Station Druid is like that too. Similar themes with a slight twist. The Tutorial Is Too Hard feature a guy still stuck in the Tutorial after dungeons break out on earth, because he was drunk and thought it was a joke and picked Hell Mode. He'll be god-tier when he emerges, if he can survive it. Unfortunately, there are also a number of great stories out there where the writers are only coming out with a few issues per year.

If you really have time and want to read an amazing story, I highly recommend the manhwa 'Tower of God'. Even tho 'Tower of God' is a OP Main Character Basis Manhwa, the writer still gives huge character development to even the side characters which is kinda rare to see in a story like TOG. The one problem I would like to address is that the beginning art-style of TOG is kinda meh but the art-style just gets infinitely better as the story continues. I'm pretty sure you won't dislike this manhwa.
Its absolutely garbage lately lmao. Ive been reading it since release since im korean and my god, i miss the good days. At this rate its going to take 20 year to finish and side characters are so much likable than main character now

they are all materpieces, solo leveling is in its own league,and pretty much is an inspiration for others. i loved it heartfully,when i read a manwha and finish it,i leave all the feelings and exp i collected till the end,remain in itself than bring it out. and thats how i dont much compare one manhwa to the other since it gives different people different vibes and hype.

Solo level has fantastic artwork, lots of cool scenes with perfect camerawork(?) that always give you goosebump. For me, it’s more like reading movies rather than scrolling through normal manhwa.
i dont know what zou mean cringe leveling has the most boring fight scenes in all of mahnwa along side a shittz plot and once again have an overused Cliche Game system the story chars etc needs major rewriting

Reformation of a deadbeat noble was so different than my usual reads. It was more of a journey of finding himself than becoming stronger. He had to work so hard and his, as well as his friend's mental struggles, were depicted beautifully. You could feel the frustration they felt when they did not feel good enough. I do recommend reading the novel too since the novel gives a lot more details

I've read Solo Leveling, Second Life Ranker, The beginning after the End and am currently reading Omniscient Readers Viewpoint. (also some nsfw manhwa like Dark Star Emperor but its up to you if you're into that stuff lol). I feel like this is the starter kit for anyone wanting to start reading manwha. Ofcourse you also have Tower of God and God of Highschool but they got anime adaptationsa already so i dont want to ruin that experience if they potentially return.

As for fff class trash hero, I definitely don't think it's perfect. I much prefer return of the mount hua sect. I think I've read up to around chapter 80 for the fff class trash hero, but stopped reading since it wasn't that fun for me.

Out of all the ones I’ve read, the beginning after the end has actually gotten me emotionally invested in the characters. Even though you know Arthur is insanely op he still kinda has a limit throughout the manwha. You also don’t know what will happen next! Who might die or get injured and where Arthur will go. I liked solo lvling, the characters are dope. But it’s nothing that crazy 😅 honestly kinda easy to tell what’s gonna happen next every time, also felt a little rushed towards middle to the end. Didn’t really get to explore other characters.
the kinda rushed ending and the mediocre at best character exploration are certainly Solo Levelings biggest flaws. the story seemed really really good, but should've taken a bit more time to explore especially towards the end. the last few chapters with war between monarchs and angel guys was a lot of lore dump and kinda confusing at times.
but with the anime coming out I'm really hoping they take a bit more time to explore the honestly quite incredible potential that is there.

Yeah i also read both TBATE and solo leveling and i liked both but the emotional appeal,character relationships that TBATE provide are better than SL.I am not saying that it beats SL in all aspects and both Arthur and jinwoo both feels similar in some aspects but for ME TBATE is above then SL due to its emotional attachment
I totally agree, what i found in solo levelling that is a flaw is the plot, it's simple, and sometimes just stagnates, and other times it just care about the mc, what about the FMC , the blonde, she needed more screen time, and so others too... but overall, its a good and marketable manhwa for the masses

i think that not the story or the art of Solo Leveling are unique (i said unique not exceptional), what's almost unique is Mc and how it's developed, 99% of stuff out there when there's a fight, they will speak for 2 chapters and fight for 4 panels, mah boi Sung Jinwoo doesn't bore us with all that talk and goes at it straight away which is exceptional, at least in my opinion

Loved it so much before it ended I had to read the Light Novel to get my fix like a drug addict because I couldn't wait for the chapters to be released. Your confusing great artwork with great story. Like the person who grades a movie by going to the movie theater. Feeling good about the movie atmosphere has to be separated from the actual movie. Can't add to the grade of the movie because you saw it on a fun date, you loved the popcorn, and because the crowds energy added to the experience. On your recommendation and looking for that Solo leveling feel I have read past chapter 40-50 of half the titles you suggest only to wake up and feel disappointed, then frustrated cause i wasted my time. I got tired on the same old plot of the OP character out for revenge......starting to feel like some authors are copying and pasting the same theme over and over again. Don't get me wrong some have amazing artwork which i agree and have average stories. But Solo leveling is in a category of its own.. It lacked very little, if anything when the anime comes out if they want to prolong the story, they can add fights or side stories about stuff like what his Dad was doing while lost in the dungeon, or show a few fights that they didn't speak of in the Manhwa like when the Beast General fought the guy in brazil or the fight against Kamish that defined the National Class heroes etc.... Stuff like that won't take away from the story. But Solo leveling had amazing story pacing, Jinwoo was a focused hero without the brazen arrogance. He had a not back down attitude but he never shows pleasure in being on top, in fact he doesn't want the attention at first. Unlike some of these OP glory hogs. I feel like the title is click bait and you got us and you secretly feel Solo Leveling is the best!
I was started with the SL lite Novels. My daughter 26, knew I love to read and I am open minded. I am 48, widowed and a gamer. And this is why SL got me hooked like a dope fiend from the GATE! I have finished LN #7 and I can’t wait for #8 to release next month. It bothers me that people that are more experienced in this don’t do their proper research. This Content Creator says these 10 anime’s or mangas or web toons are better than SL, but he hasn’t read the LN which you and I know has WAY MORE TO SHOW than the web toon or manhwas 🤷🏽♀️ There are false truths to the manhwa like certain people being somewhere they never appeared at in the LN. I take the NOVELS as cannon because it tells all. The other two can’t do that because they would be well over 200 chapters. I get it, I do. But in throwing stuff where stuff doesn’t belong, you get readers that think the manhwas are cannon. Another thing I noticed is very few readers understand the system, but they play video games.. to me it was self explanatory 🤷🏽♀️I agree with you, this man needs the pitchfork, because if he had read the LN then he wouldn’t make this fictitious claim, his opinion or not.
One more honorable mention could be manhwa - The Max Level Hero Has Returned! . The art isn´t anything special, but the story is pretty good and litlle bit different than the others mentioned in this video so give it a try. Personally i really enjoyed it.

Reformation of the Deadbeat was a really great read with it's great good artstyle that despite it not being overly flashy but makes fight scene look more fluid.

My only real complaint of Solo Leveling is how every other character becomes so irrelevant so quickly. S Class was hyped up to the degree of Bleach captains, only to become completely insignificant before any can even show what they can do. Same for Nation-Level hunters. I’m all down for an op mc, but when literally nothing can be accomplished without him, it starts to be a drag.
I still love re-reading many of the badass chapters, though lol (C-Grade dungeon turning into a red-seal dungeon…that whole arc was so kickass…)

Solo levelling is a mnahwa with mc as it's centre, these all have stories and plots better than solo levelling, but the hype given by solo levelling was very high 🔥🔥, even though my favourite manhwa like solo levelling is eleceed. ❤🔥🔥

Nah man, I’ve read the #1 on this list and it doesn’t even come close to solo leveling. It was good, definitely had me reading it a lot, I’m on like chapter 30 in a few days. However, I wasn’t entranced into spending every waking hour reading it and damn near finishing it in two days like with solo leveling. Solo leveling has 170+ chapters and I had to stop at chapter 157 on day two so that I do t finish it. I then proceeded to re-read it from the start just so I could get to read it more. It’s number one of all time and it’s not budging anytime soon.
Solo levelling will never be dethroned because too many people started with solo levelling and will always have a biased opinion, most people reading manwha probably started after hearing about solo levelling and trying it out

I always find the ending before the epilogue better. It felt like the writer made 2 ending to emphasize the meaning of the book.
And ending that the writer want or what will happen in reality "1st ending" and an ending that the reader wants or hope for "2nd ending"
And i really like the first one even though the 2nd is good too but I usually act as if I didn't read it 😂😂.

Yes solo leveling is a really great manhwa in popularity but not the best in every genre coz there's enough manhwa that can easily surpass solo leveling
Even in its own genre. It's basicly the manhwa version of dragon ball. It's the first decent story most people bump I and they make the fact that they read/watch it their entire life.
Any manhwa that come wheather they are good or bad but solo leveling as created a special place in our hearts and it will be my top one forever
Personally having read the Light novel I feel that the only true possibilities on this video are Leveling With the Gods and unlikely but Solo Max-Level Newbie. I feel that in many people’s opinion Solo Max-Level Newbie isn’t even close but I simply like some concepts introduced. Leveling With the Gods seems like an equal to or better version of Ranker’s Second Life but with more potential. Though I haven’t read the light novels so I can’t be sure.

Your list is pretty good. There's a lot here I haven't heard of. Leveling with the Gods is one of my favorites. I've been reading that one for a bit now. If you like the "go back in time and do it better" meme, some other good ones are Kill the Hero and SSS-Class Suicide Hunter. Max Level Returner is one of those Dungeons break out in earth stories like Solo Leveling, and Seoul Station Druid and Seoul Station Necromancer are a well. Similar vibe, but totally unrelated stories, despite the names. Max Level Hero Has Returned is an amazing story, with an Isekai twist that you forget about most of the time, but it occasionally pops up. Level Up Only by Eating, Taming Master, Mystic Musketeer/Arcane Sniper, and Overgeared are all great stories set in VRMMO games. The story occasionally follows the characters outside of the game in the real world, but their achievements in the game is the focus of the story. Limit Breaker and The Tutorial Tower's Advanced Player both feature characters dealing with dungeon breaks on earth, but they were trapped in the Tutorial missions that allowed them to become Players because of bugs, causing them to come out much stronger than others. Seoul Station Druid is like that too. Similar themes with a slight twist. The Tutorial Is Too Hard feature a guy still stuck in the Tutorial after dungeons break out on earth, because he was drunk and thought it was a joke and picked Hell Mode. He'll be god-tier when he emerges, if he can survive it. Unfortunately, there are also a number of great stories out there where the writers are only coming out with a few issues per year.

If you really have time and want to read an amazing story, I highly recommend the manhwa 'Tower of God'. Even tho 'Tower of God' is a OP Main Character Basis Manhwa, the writer still gives huge character development to even the side characters which is kinda rare to see in a story like TOG. The one problem I would like to address is that the beginning art-style of TOG is kinda meh but the art-style just gets infinitely better as the story continues. I'm pretty sure you won't dislike this manhwa.

i loved it heartfully,when i read a manwha and finish it,i leave all the feelings and exp i collected till the end,remain in itself than bring it out. and thats how i dont much compare one manhwa to the other since it gives different people different vibes and hype.
